Final Fantasy XIV has quite literally hundreds of mounts to collect, and every patch adds a few more to the list. One of the more hotly sought-after mounts in Patch 6.3 is the Logistics Node, a massive green Allagan sphere you can ride around.
While the mount was added to the game with the latest patch, the patch notes sadly didn’t give any details on how to acquire it. With that in mind, here’s how to get the Logistics Node Mount.
Where to Find the Logistics Node Mount in FFXIV

At the moment, the only way to get the Logistics Node is by playing Final Fantasy XIV‘s PvP modes. The mount is a Series 3 PvP reward received for reaching Malmstone Level 15.
Each time you play any PvP mode, you’ll gain experience toward your Malmstone level, but the amount you get can go up depending on the type of match you play, and whether you win or not.
For example, using the Duty Roulette to play Frontline is a guaranteed 1,000 experience, while winning a match of Crystalline Conflict will net you 900. In all, to reach Level 15, you’ll need roughly 40,000 experience, so expect it to take a while.
How to Claim PvP Rewards
To claim PvP rewards, all you need to do is open the character menu and select “PvP Profile,” then hit the “Series Malmstones” button at the top of the window that pops up. Here you can see the reward for each tier and claim them. Once you hit Level 15, grab the Logistics Node Identification Key. Then make sure to head into your inventory and use the item to get the mount.
Will the Logistics Node Mount Be Available Outside PvP?
If you can’t stand PvP, Square Enix has confirmed that PvP rewards like mounts will become available through other means in the future, but we currently don’t know how or when that will happen.
