Rise of the Ronin: How to Get the White Horse

Horses in Rise of the Ronin make traveling faster and easier. There are two different ways to get horses in the game. The first way is to save the village of Honmoku. You’ll be able to do this as soon as you finish the tutorial mission.

You’ll have to take out five bandits that are holding the village hostage. After you defeat all the bandits, you’ll be rewarded with a Horse and a Horse Flute, which lets you call your horse wherever you are. You can also purchase different Horses from Stables using Silver Coins.

However, the best Horse you can get in the early game is the White Horse. It has a Speed stat of 81 and the following boosts:

  • Additional Item Drops from Enemies: +8.1%
  • Mounted Primary Attack Up: + 3.5%
  • Mounted Ki Attack Up: +3.5%

To get the White Horse, you’ll have to talk to a Horse Vendor in Yokohama. He’ll tell you that bandits stole his horse and ask you to return it. Once you track down the bandits, you’ll find out that the horse has already been sold.

The map will tell you where to find the stolen horse. You’ll need to buy the horse with three Silver Coins. Alternatively, if you chose the Seducer Sharpening Origin, you can use the Persuade skill and get the horse back for free.

Once you get the horse back to the vendor, you have the option of buying it back for another 25 Silver Coins. You’ll also be rewarded with the Military Bridle.

That’s how to get the White Horse in Rise of the Ronin. If you’re looking for more tips and tricks, check out our dedicated Rise of the Ronin guides hub for topics such as how to change character appearance and armor.
