How to Stop Ghosts from Reviving in Midnight Ghost Hunt

Make it easier on your Hunter team by stopping Ghosts from reviving each other.

One nice feature in Midnight Ghost Hunt is the ability for Ghosts and Hunters to be revived after defeat. While it’s simple to keep a Hunter down by consuming their soul, Ghosts aren’t as easy to keep dead. Here’s how to stop Ghosts from reviving in Midnight Ghost Hunt.

Midnight Ghost Hunt: How to Prevent Ghosts from Reviving

When a Ghost dies in MGH, it turns into a pile of Ghost Shards on the ground. Those shards make it possible for other Ghosts to revive their teammate, but Hunters actually have a tool to prevent this. If you want to keep a Ghost down, you need the almighty vacuum.

Once a Ghost is defeated, one of the Hunters needs to use a vacuum to suck up the Ghost Shards left behind. It’s not a good strategy for every Hunter to take the vacuum since having a variety of tools is much better. As such, if you aren’t the Hunter with the vacuum, stand guard by the shards until they arrive and get rid of them.

Of course, there’s still a way for Ghosts to revive after being sucked into the vacuum. If the Hunter who vacuumed up the shards is killed, then the Ghosts can revive their teammates who were sucked up. Additionally, that Ghost will still return with the others at midnight if the Hunters haven’t defeated the whole team, even if a Ghost’s shards are vacuumed.

Stopping ghosts from reviving is a necessary action to prevent Hunters from having to defeat Ghosts repeatedly when they keep helping each other back up. And it’s a bit silly to vacuum up a Ghost, making the idea of it entertaining. From here, check out our MGH guide hub for more topics like how to use Telekinesis or what the best Hunter gear is.
