Players who’ve been waiting for the release of Apex Legends Mobile can now test out Season 0 right now globally. However, there are a few regional and time restrictions when it comes to Ranked mode, and they can be a bit of a pain.

Our guide will list all the possible reasons and provide tips on how to unlock Ranked mode in Apex Legends Mobile. The following restrictions are temporary and should be removed as soon as the game is officially released later this year.

Apex Legends Mobile: How to Unlock Ranked Mode

Play Within a Time Frame

Respawn Entertainment has decided to lock Ranked mode in various parts of the global regions during a specific time frame, which is:

  • 23:59 PM to 8:00 AM (GMT +8)

This means that global players can only play in Ranked mode from 8 in the morning to midnight GMT. At night the Ranked mode is locked, which should prevent most cheaters from using bots, hacks, etc.

The current timelock should be lifted once Season 1 launches worldwide.

Reach Level 10

If you still can’t get into the Ranked mode even during the correct hours, then you probably still haven’t reached Level 10 on your account.

You can easily check your rank by tapping on your user name in the main menu, or by checking your stats at the end of the match-ups.

Don’t worry, just keep playing the Battle Royale mode until you reach Level 10, and soon you should be able to join Ranked games as well.

It is possible that Respawn Entertainment may have issues with the servers, but if you still can’t play the game while others do, then you need to send a support ticket to EA Support:

  1. Go to EA Support webpage
  2. Select Apex Legends from the list
  3. Tap on your platform (Android or iOS)
  4. Select your issue
  5. Tap and fill the contact form

You should be contacted soon by the support team about the issues you may have with your game.
