The first level of Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe is the calm and cozy Cookie Country. A good starting level with plenty of tutorial signs and the least amount of Energy Spheres compared to other stages like the Egg Engines. Although this is the first stage some of those pesky spheres are easy to miss so we have you covered with the locations of each Cookie Country Energy Sphere.
Collecting Energy Spheres is vital if you want to unlock the full potential of Magolor’s Ship, The Lor Starcutter and reach extra challenges on board.
Where to Find all the Energy Spheres in the Cookie Country
As we’ve said before in our guide on the Egg Engines, each stage in Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe indicates how many Energy Spheres there are when standing in front of the stage door. As you collect spheres the icons at the top left fill in by the order you should be finding them. So if you notice any of the icons are filled out of order, you probably missed a sphere or two.

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Energy Spheres Level 1-1
Sphere 1
The first Energy Sphere in Cookie Country is easy to find as it’s placed directly on the path you have to go. No need to look hard for this one because it’s impossible to miss and the easiest of them all.
Sphere 2-3
The other two Energy Spheres can be harvested from the sphere doomer miniboss you reach after using the super sword ability to destroy the enemies and shiny ground on your way to the exit gate. There will be a large mass of rocks you can destroy and doing so will open the star portal.

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Energy Spheres Level 1-2
Sphere 1
The first Energy Sphere is along the straight forward path. You’re gonna wanna pick up the Crackler cannon shooter and carry it onward until you spot heavy blocks up above. Blow them up and jump up to get the sphere. The Crackler cannon has a limited time usage so its best to keep moving before it runs out of ammo
Sphere 2
In order to get the second Energy Sphere you’re gonna want to reach the gate at the top of the tree. Make your way all the way up a lot of ladders and you’ll find the gate. Pass the gate and there will be a lone energy sphere subtly placed in the tree to the right like a fruit.
Sphere 3
The third sphere requires the sword ability. Luckily there is a sword miniboss on the way so be sure to take its ability. Keep going to the right and come across the Energy Sphere blocked off by a platform held up by a rope. Use your sword to cut through and make the platform fall.
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Energy Spheres Level 1-3
Sphere 1
Shortly after the start of the stage Kirby will wind up underground. As you make you way down you’ll notice the exit gate there but before you run inside, jump down. Under the gate is the first Energy Sphere.
Sphere 2
The second Energy Sphere is in the crystal caves. At one point you’ll reach an area where there are moving platforms, right after a locked gate. You’ll see the sphere locked behind there. The key is on the other side of the moving platforms so pick it up and back track to unlock the door and get the next sphere. Be wary when carrying the key. If it’s lost to the bottomless pit you won’t be able to get this sphere.

Sphere 3
The last sphere is locked behind another gate as well. However this key is held by an enemy that you’ll see not long after getting the second sphere. You’ll have to race ahead of it in order to intercept the enemy holding the key before it destroys the key and probably itself. Once you beat the enemy, snag the key and use it on the locked gate to the right to get the final Energy Sphere of level 3.
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Energy Spheres Level 1-4
Sphere 1
Pretty early in stage four of Cookie Country you’ll find a spark enemy with the first Energy Sphere below. Just backtrack a bit and drop down then head to the right directly to the sphere. You’ll walk into a secret path that has circle windows and reach the sphere.
Sphere 2
On the way to the next sphere you’ll pick up a horn that protects Kirby from danger above. Carry that horn further ahead and you’ll come across some giant enemies behind steel blocks. Press the blue switch and release them then use your horn for protection. Next jump up and get the Energy Sphere they were above. The horn also has a limited time use so keep moving with this item before it stops being useful as well.
Sphere 3-4
The final two Energy Spheres are kept by a Doomer Sphere miniboss. You’ll acquire the super flame ability and use it to destroy the enemies and shiny objects on your way to the exit gate. Destroy the giant tree on the way to reveal the star portal. Then defeat the miniboss inside to earn the last two spheres in Cookie Country.
