How to Make Balloons in LEGO Fortnite

Before you make a balloon, there are a few other things you’ll have to build. You’ll need a Loom and a Spinning Wheel first. These will allow you to make the materials you need for the balloon.

To make a Spinning Wheel, you’ll need:

To make a Loom, you’ll need:

  • x6 Sand Claws
  • x8  Flexwood Rods
  • x9 Flexwood

However, before you make a Loom, you’ll have to find certain materials to obtain the blueprint. Once you’ve found Flexwood Rods, Sandy Claws, and Silk, you’ll automatically get the blueprint and be able to build it. You’ll be able to find the Flexwood and the Sand Claws in the Desert Biome (Dry Valley), so you’ll have to do a bit of adventuring.

Now that you have the proper crafting stations, you can finally take to the skies and fly. Balloons can be crafted using the Loom. There are two varieties: Small Balloons and Large Balloons.

To make a Small Balloon, you’ll need:

  • x1 Torch
  • x1 Cord

To make a Large Balloon, you’ll need:

  • x2 Silk Fabric
  • x1 Torch
  • x1 Cord

How to Use Balloons

Before you make a balloon, you’ll need something to attach it to first. If you put some balloons on a platform that you built, it will start to float. However, you’ll want to make sure that the balloon(s) are placed evenly, or the platform will tilt. I suggest placing them on each corner of a platform or in the middle of the platform on each side to create balance.
