You’ll find 10 Graffiti spots hidden all throughout Episode 1. While some of these are easy to find, others are tricky and require some setup before you can pull them off.

The Graffiti spots listed here are in chronological order. Don’t fret if you miss any, though, because you’ll be able to go back to each scene individually in Collector Mode after you’ve finished Episode 1. If you’re using Collector Mode, remember that you can use the R1 bumper to skip through cutscenes and dialogue.

Old Mill – Exterior

When you arrive at the old mill, you’ll see an RV begging for a fresh coat of Graffiti to the left of the main entrance. Walk around the back side of the RV and find the perfect spot to deface it between a couple of windows.

Old Mill – Interior

Once inside the Old Mill, make your way to the back towards the mosh pit. Rather than trying to enter the mosh pit, examine the wall to find a saw that could use a little sprucing up. Pop out your Graffiti marker and get scribbling.

Price House – Upstairs

After getting out of bed, walk across the room to your unicorn poster and tear it down like the punk you are. Now that that eyesore on the wall is gone, you can liven the place up with a little Graffiti.

Price House – Downstairs

After walking out the front door and speaking with David, grab his socket wrench set from his toolbox in the garage. With the top of his toolbox now empty, you have the chance to leave David a special message in the lid.

School Campus

After Eliot chats you up, head behind the theatre stage to find the side entrance to the school. To the right of the entrance is a lovely corner for a little art.

School Drama Lab

After being dragged into an awkward conversation about true love with the drama teacher, Rachel asks you to grab her belt from her bag. Find the belt in the back of the room and then walk into the backstage area where Rachel is. Avoid going to the changing area for now and just walk straight forward from the door to find a posted for The Tempest that’s just asking for a little defacing.

Train

After hopping on the train, Rachel asks you to pull up a seat. Move the box behind you, but don’t sit down quite yet. Instead, head back into the newly accessible area to find some philosophical ramblings scribbled on the wall. Respond to them with some philosophy of your own.

Overlook

After Rachel’s quarter gets jammed, you’re set loose to try and unjam it. Before you do, though, walk up to the statue and write down your witty remarks for all the tourists to see.

Junkyard

This one’s a bit tricky. Once you begin the rage sequence with a baseball bat, walk over to the tall ‘Good Kiddos’ sign and smash it down before doing anything else. Then find the nearby cans of paint and smash those too. Doing things in this order creates a perfect Graffiti opportunity on the smashed sign.

Dream

While in the dream after the junkyard sequence, you’ll have to examine things in the correct order or you’ll miss your opportunity. First, acknowledge the ‘The Tempest’ poster and move it out of the way to reveal your Graffiti spot.

Next, you’ll notice your marker is missing. Look at the wine bottle on the floor of the car to find it plugging the top. Grab the marker and use it to write on the back of the seat, filling up the last Graffiti spot found in Episode 1.
