The secret to this item’s properties is actually in its description. Growing Blue Grass, which your animals eat during the day, increases how fast they gain Hearts. How fast? You’ll earn hearts at double the standard rate.
This speeds up when you start getting higher-quality animal products. With my chickens eating it, I started getting gold star regular eggs within the first seven days of my brand-new playthrough. They also pumped out Large Eggs, even gold star quality ones, before Spring 20. Not only can you complete Community Center bundles faster, but you’ll make money faster, too.
How to Get Blue Grass Without Meadowlands Farm
If you don’t want to start with the Meadowlands Farm, you’ll need to get the Blue Grass Starter Recipe. Qi’s Walnut Room on Ginger Island is the only place you’re able to purchase it. Not only is getting to Ginger Island a process but actually crafting Blue Grass Starter is an ordeal. You need to get Foraging Mastery to get just one of the components.
