Blizzard is working hard on eliminating the massive server issues on their side, and the developer regularly posts new updates about the progress on this situation on the official Twitter page.

Be sure to check Battle.net support page for quick tips on how to fix various issues, including server connection errors.

In the last big report, Blizzard mentioned working on the issues of lengthy queues, server crashes and instability, and called them to be intertwined:

“Login queues, server crashes, and stability problems are intertwined.

We have made changes to simplify the queuing process, so players should now only be experiencing the one queue before entering the game.

We’ve patched a server that is critical to the login experience, and this change has increased login reliability.

Finally, the player database is being overloaded, which cascades and causes a backup in the login system, which eventually leads to some people being dropped out of queues or being unable to log in at all.”

These problems are currently being worked on, so try to stay patient and soon this issue should be fixed.

If you have any specific problem to report, you can always open a support ticket for that purpose.
