There are over 50 characters in PO that you can recruit for your team of champions. Not all of them are equally great, so I’ve created a tier list of the best champions for Pixel Overlord: 4096 Draws, including their stats and favorite abilities.
Pixel Overlord 4096 Draws Strongest Champions
Pixel Overlord S-Tier Champions
I’ve put De Paine, Anna, and Marco on the highest tier.
De Paine
- ATK: 34,500
- DEF: 1,746
- HP: 172,171
De Paine, also known as the Lionheart Monarch, is a powerful melee attacker with a damage and chase bonus. This is a perfect character for close-range combat. He can inflict up to 500% damage at max level. I can’t say the same about his defenses, unfortunately, but Pixel Overlord is a team game, so your other characters can fill that gap.
Anna
- ATK: 24,504
- DEF: 1,748
- HP: 193,636
Speaking of defenses, Anna, also known as Brown Bear Pactmaker, is an undisputed champion of healing. While using her Revive ability, I can bring a downed ally back to life. If I need to protect my allies, I can use the Ruthless Flame skill. Not to mention her Bear summon, who can serve as the team’s tank.
Marco
- ATK: 34,780
- DEF: 1,635
- HP: 165,266
Marco the Traveler has the highest attacking power of all the supporting characters in the game. But that’s not even his best quality. He can easily eliminate debuffs with his Dispel trick and ward off enemy melee attacks with his Counter skill. On top of that, Marco can restore and support your entire team in the process.
Pixel Overlord A-Tier Champions
The following champions are very good but not the best: Hel, Grindal, and Mephistopheles.
Hel
- ATK: 35,556
- DEF: 1,671
- HP: 168,785
Many players consider Hel to be the best attacker in the game. I can see why, as her damage is really high, and her critical hit rate is up there, too. But she has lower defense and HP than De Paine, whom I consider to be a superior champion when it comes to combat. Nonetheless, Hel is a great character with high Burn damage.
Grindal
- ATK: 33,766
- DEF: 1,714
- HP: 168,708
Grindal, the Winter Priestess, is another great support character, although she mainly focuses on debuffing enemies. When in battle, I can use her Speed and Attack reduction skills to weaken and slow down enemy units. If I encounter an elite target, then I can use her ranged Frozen ability to hold them off for some time.
Mephistoteles
- ATK: 32,106
- DEF: 1,833
- HP: 196,031
If you’re looking for an alternative to Anna or Grindal, then I highly recommend Mephistoles. She effectively combines the healing powers with some strong debuffs. I really like her Barrier ability, which can provide significant protection to my entire team. But her attacks are rather weak and slow, so be aware of that.
Pixel Overlord B-Tier Champions
For B-tier, I’ve only chosen Lucienne and Jeanne Fu.
Lucienne
- ATK: 35,522
- DEF: 1,610
- HP: 162,457
Lucienne is all about ranged AoE damage. She can’t do much in terms of close-range combat, as her defense is quite poor. But when it comes to instigating enemies and stealing their buffs, she can do no wrong. I’d place her in the back row, where she can freely spam her AoE attacks without getting hurt.
Jeanne Fu
- ATK: 29,072
- DEF: 1,779
- HP: 184,922
I like Jeanne a lot, but I wouldn’t put too much into her except her Revive and Cleanse abilities. In this regard, she could be a great support character who can also buff your team’s DPS. But her own attack power is very low, and thus, she’s quite limited in that regard.
