Pokemon GO Sustainability Week Event Timed Research Guide

Sustainability Week 2023 has started in Pokemon GO. With a new timed research series, walking with your Buddy, using berries to catch Pokemon, and earning candies now earns extra rewards. Sustainability Week lasts until April 26 at 8 p.m. so get your walking shoes on. Here are all the Timed Research requirements for Sustainability Week in Pokemon GO.

Sustainability Week Timed Research Requirements and Rewards Stage 1/4

• Use 4 berries to help catch Pokemon: A Pokemon Encounter (Drilbur)
• Feed your buddy 5 times: Pinap Berries x5
• Take 5 snapshots of your buddy: A Pokemon Encounter (Trubbish)

Stage 1 Completion Rewards:

• 1,500 XP
• 500 Stardust
• Star Piece x1

Sustainability Week Timed Research Requirements and Rewards Stage 2/4

• Use 7 berries to help catch Pokemon: A Pokemon Encounter (Trubbish)
• Earn 5 hearts with your buddy: Nanab Berries x10
• Play with your buddy: A Pokemon Encounter (Bounsweet)

Stage 2 completion rewards:

• 1,500 XP
• 1,000 Stardust
• Incense x1

Sustainability Week Timed Research Requirements and Rewards Stage 3/4

• Use 9 berries to help catch Pokemon: A Pokemon Encounter (Drilbur)
• Earn 2 candies exploring with your buddy: A Pokemon Encounter (Grimer) 
• Use an Incense: A Pokemon Encounter (Bounsweet)

Stage 3 completion rewards:

• 2,000 EXP
• 1,500 Stardust
• Razz Berries x10

Sustainability Week Timed Research Requirements and Rewards Stage 4/4

• Use 5 berries to help catch Pokmon: A Pokemon Encounter (Binacle)
• Earn 3 candies exploring with your buddy: A Pokemon Encounter  (Drilbur)
• Receive a souvenir from your buddy: A Pokemon Encounter (Bounsweet)

Stage 4 completion rewards: 

• 2,000 XP
• 2,000 Stardust
• Ultra Ball x15

Thankfully, the amount you need to walk with your buddy to earn hearts and candy has been halved during Sustainability Week. There’s also an increased chance of receiving souvenirs from Ultra Buddy level or higher Buddies.
