Sons of the Forest: How to Get the Stun Baton

The Stun Baton can be a powerful weapon that's available early in Sons of the Forest.

Sons of the Forest includes plenty of weapon options, much like The Forest, Endnight’s first game. One particular weapon that can be powerful is the Stun Baton since, as you may have guessed, you can use it to stun your enemies. The downside is that you’ll need batteries to recharge it.

The Stun Baton is close to the original helicopter crash site, so you’re able to grab it easily in the early portion of the game. The crash site is near a stream, so the first step to getting the Stun Baton is to follow the water downstream.

It won’t take long before you reach a waterfall.

At the base of the waterfall, you’ll see a little skull structure. Head on down and grab the Stun Baton, which is the item propping up the skulls. Just like that, you have yourself a new weapon that can stun enemies if you hold down the attack button (LMB/RT by default) before attacking.

Again, it’s worth noting that the Stun Baton uses Batteries, which are also used to charge the Flashlight, a useful light source when you need to also wield a more powerful weapon than a Torch. You can find Batteries in crates scattered across the island or the more modern structures you come across. You can even dupe Batteries if you’d like

That’s how you get the Stun Baton in Sons of the Forest. As the game is still in Early Access, anything within it is subject to change.
