If you want to play as a tank in Tarisland and absorb as much damage as possible in both PvP and PvE, then the Paladin class would be the best choice. Here, I’ll provide you with a list of the best Paladin abilities and ultimates in Tarisland for tanks, including tips for both specializations.

Tarisland: How to Play as Guard Paladin

The best choice of specialization for the tank Paladin is Guard. It allows you to withhold massive attacks, stay durable, and keep controlling those pesky crowds of enemies no matter what. This build is especially useful in dungeon settings, where the role of the tank is most important, with its increased survivability.

Best Guard Paladin Abilities in Tarisland

Here, I combined both defensive and offensive skills for balance:

Ardent GuardianReduces the DMG taken by 25% and increases Physical DEF and Magic DEF by 182.
Flying ShieldGrants a shield that absorbs a total DMG of 12% of your max HP +403.
Holy FireDeals 60% Magic DMG of your ATK +41 for 6 sec.
Holy HammerDeals 76% Physical DMG of your ATK +52, and increases your Glacing Chance by 4% for the next 13 sec.
Holy ReversalRecovers 19% of your max HP +590.

Best Guard Paladin Ultimates in Tarisland

For the ultimates, I picked mostly defensive and disruptive spells against both melee enemies and spellcasters:

Challenge GuardianTaunt your enemies within 8m.
Shield ReflectionReflects 100% DMG to the enemy, up to 200% of your ATK.
BreakoutBoosts your Move Speed by 70% for 8 sec.
PunishmentInterrupts target’s spellcasting.
ScourgeMakes enemies within 5m gain Stun for 2 sec.

Tarisland: How to Play as Justice Paladin

On the other hand, there’s also a more DPS-based tank build for Paladin that could really wreak havoc on the battle arena. Note that boss fights will not be very successful with mere tanking, so you do need to put in some forward damage as well. In this build, I combined offensive skills and defensive ultimates.

Best Justice Paladin Abilities in Tarisland

This list of skills for the Justice build is a pure offense with a high critical hit rate:

Glory StrikeDeals 104% Physical DMG of your ATK +101.
Judgment StrikeDeals Magic DMG equal to 265% of your ATK +257.
Trial of RageBoosts your Crit. Rate and Haste effects by +12%, and your ATK by 4% +23.
Justice ThumpDeals 142% Physical DMG of your ATK +137. If the target’s HP is less than 25%, DMG dealt by the skill will be doubled.

These ultimate skills will protect you from incoming damage and debuff enemies of various types:

Invincible MightReduces the DMG you take by 80%.
BrillianceInflicts enemies with 50% Deceleration effect.
