Top 10 Best Reddit House Ideas for Terraria

Snow House

You’re in for a treat with this highly detailed design of the Snow House by R0_od. I immediately noticed the fantastic window design with its actuated dark lines, which were actually made with a simple hammer. Another great feature of this design is the doorways, which are made out of four silly balloons and painted with shadow paint. If you wonder how R0_od did the handrail, then look closer, and you’ll see that it’s a simple minecart track painted brown. Excellent and very fine work indeed!

Adventure Time Tree House

The Adventure Time Tree House by Randpool is instantly recognizable as the guard outpost on the edge of Candy Kingdom. This excellent design features a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen, a pond, a well, a bathroom, a chicken coop, a treasure room, an attic, a storage room, and a wide lookout view. In the Adventure Time series, the tree house was destroyed by one of GOLB’s monsters, but in Terraria, there’s no danger of that happening.

Peaceful House

This Peaceful House by nig_gy must be the closest we’ll ever get to the Pokemon house in Terraria. The location and the exterior design are both super cozy. I also noticed that at night, a lantern lights up, giving the whole place a truly magical look. Note that the roof and the back wall are painted in two different colors, one brighter and one darker.

The Guide’s House

Here’s another highly detailed work on The Guide’s House by PaulBeenus. The ground floor combines elements of grey stone bricks, ebonstone bricks, mudstone bricks, and tin bricks. The upper floor isn’t as delicate and uses only wallpaper for decoration. If you wonder, what are those outer walls on the upper floor made from, then, check out the palladium columns for reference.

Not Another Guide’s House

If you’re looking for something much simpler, then here’s the Not Another Guide’s House by PaulBeenus design. Here, Paul made the house a little smaller and tighter, but he also added some bridges to both sides. The attic is especially cozy, and I wouldn’t mind living in a place like this myself. The two main elements of this design consist of white dynasty walls that are painted brown and the windows taken from Chad’s Furniture Mod.

Crimson House

Not all Terraria players look for cozy places; some want their houses to be something like a haunted mansion on the hill. In that case, I recommend Crimson House by Dee_Dae, which looks as if it was taken straight from the Castlevania series. Everything about this place oozes an eerie atmosphere, and you can almost hear that classic Castlevania soundtrack playing in the background.

Simple House at Night

Simple house designs are sometimes more effective than massive, complex builds. The Simple House at Night by nig_gy proves this by delivering an incredibly looking little house with some very fine red dynasty shingles on the roof and dynasty wood on the wall. I managed to spot both of the resources at the Traveling Merchant. If you notice the hanging flowerbed above the lantern, then simply combine a hanging pot with the day bloom.

Fantasy Lake House

Like it or not, this is definitely one of the most unusual house designs in Terraria that I’ve ever seen. Clearly, the Fantasy Lake House by masterarchitect1122 aimed for a Tudor-style building with that tower on the left, although the interior may look a bit messy. Books are probably not the best fillers for rooms, and I’d rather choose something like paintings or sculptures, but if you’re a bibliophile this can be the perfect design for you!

Simple Beach House

I wouldn’t exactly call this design simple, but that’s the Simple Beach House by hetarae for you. What I like the most about this design is the featured ocean pylon that supports the entire right half of the building. This time the interior design is much more refined than the lake house, with lots of thematic beach items, such as a lifeguard circle, sea stars, fish trophies, etc.

Small Tree House

Who said you couldn’t live in a tree house? The Small Tree House by VenomFLM has an entire fireplace with a chimney of its own, a flower pot, a bookshelf, and a window. There’s also a balcony that provides a nice view of the area from the top of the trees. If this doesn’t inspire you to build one for yourself, then I don’t know what will.
