The Complete List of All Heat Engagers & How Heat Engager Works in Tekken 8

If you need a one-stop shop for every Tekken 8 Heat Engager, we've got you covered.

What might be the biggest addition to Tekken 8 is the new Heat System, which supports many aggressive techniques. Understanding how to activate it varies from character to character, though, and their move lists don’t exactly spell it out. Here’s a list of all Heat Engagers in Tekken 8.

Every fighter has five unique Heat Engager moves. Although everyone has access to the universal Heat Burst, knowing these Heat Engagers is vital to understanding how your character plays. I’ll detail the inputs necessary to pull off each one, as well as pinpoint where to find these listed in-game.

Heat Engager Inputs List

Before we can go over each Tekken 8 fighter’s options, it helps to explain the Heat Engager inputs. For consistency’s sake, I’m using the standard input names used by the international community, which I’ve detailed below, along with which buttons they match on a PlayStation and Xbox controller.

The table below links directly to specific fighters and their Heat Engagers if you only want one in particular. By default, these notations are for when you’re facing from the left. If you’re on the opposite side, remember to flip the side inputs. I also list out any specific requirements, such as if part of the move needs to hit. If it needs to occur after a previous move or stance, the notations for that are in parentheses.

Where to Find Heat Engagers in Tekken 8

If you’re looking for how to do these in-game, they can be found in each fighter’s move list under All Techniques and Heat Moves. Although they’re not labeled as such, it is the five techniques listed after Heat Burst. I recommend giving them a go in practice mode to nail down the timing. Once you’re ready to try them out online, make sure to take advantage of the replay system to further improve.

That covers our Heat Engagers list and how to do them in Tekken 8. I’ll update this further as the DLC characters are released. If you need a breakdown of what else is available along with Heat Engagers, check out our Heat System guide. All other gameplay tips and tricks are available at our T8 guides hub.
