There might be sixteen games in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater franchise, but outside of THPS Underground, the first two games are regarded as the best. Luckily, Activision knows that the 2012 Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD left many fans wanting, and the developer is bringing the seminal entries back in stunning 4K later this year in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered.
The game will be coming to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 4. It is an Epic Games exclusive on the PC.
If you’re looking to drop into the halfpipe as soon as the skatepark opens, you’ll be glad to know that the game is already up for preorder on several different storefronts. As expected, there are also several different editions up for grabs.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered Preorder and Editions Guide
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered Standard Edition
The Standard Edition includes the base game and will set you back $39.99. Preordering this version of THPS 1+2 Remastered will give you access to the game’s Warehouse Demo, which will release sometime before the game launches. However, Activision has not yet shared a release timeframe for the demo.
As a preorder bonus, GameStop is offering a unique mini fingerboard, sporting the THPS 1+2 logo and a variant of Hawk’s iconic Birdhouse design.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered Digital Deluxe Edition
This version costs $49.99 and comes with the base game, as well as the preorder Warehouse Demo. It also includes:
- “The Ripper” character, seen on many iconic Powell Peralta boards
- Retro outfits for Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, and Rodney Mullen
- Retro content for Create-A-Skater mode
- boards, clothes, shows, and other gear
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered Collector’s Edition
One of the cheaper and more affordable Collector’s Editions out there, this one will set you back a meager $99.99. That’s not too bad considering you get the base game, all Digital Deluxe content, and a limited-edition full-sized skateboard.
That’s it for our Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered preorder and editions guide. We’ll be sure to update this if the game becomes available for early purchase on other storefronts, such as the PlayStation Store.
