Here are the top 10 rings in Dragon's Dogma 2 and how to find them.

While there are a lot of rings in Dragon’s Dogma 2, there are only around a dozen that are worth it to wear the entire game. I outlined these rings that are universally useful in every situation. Here are my top 10 rings in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

10 Best Rings in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Ring of Ambition

This ring boosts your experience gained from defeating enemies by a whopping 50%. Getting it as soon as possible is a surefire way to boost your stats much faster through leveling. You can get it by solving Sphinx riddles during the quest A Game of Wits which you can starts here.

Ring of Endeavor

We have a similar situation here as the Endeavor ring will boost your discipline point gain by 50%. Since Dragon’s Dogma 2 doesn’t reward playing the same vocation past Rank 9 other than passive stat gains, this ring is quite important. You can use it to quickly rank up all vocations, learn their weapon skill and augments, and create the ultimate build. Especially if you’re playing a Warfarer. Get it by turning in 220 Seeker’s Tokens in a Vocation Guild.

Ring of Proximity

While this only works on Bows and Magick Bows, it’s an incredibly potent boost to damage via Strength. You get more Bow damage the closer you are to your target. You can benefit from this ring with a Warfarer wielding a bow, it’s not just for Archers and Magick Archers. This is incredibly important both for closing the distance throughout the fight and dealing damage once a foe has staggered and fallen over.

I burst down the final boss Dragon with this ring and Explosive Arrows. You get it from Glyndwr for free as soon as you complete his Gift of the Bow quest which starts in Vernworth.

Ring of Recitation

As for Mages and Sorcerers or Warfarers using Staves and Archistaves, the Ring of Recitation is crucial for DPS. It’ll reduce the time you need to incant spells by 25% percent which means you’ll be firing off powerful AOEs much faster. The 20% reduction to HP is a worthwhile tradeoff since you’ll be standing away from the fight anyway most of the time.

I found it in a chest inside the Tomb of Ja’Nuwa behind a secret collapsable wall. That said, I heard some players also got it as a drop from Liches.

Ring of Benevolence

The Ring of Benevolence will keep you sustained in close-quarter fights where you’re suddenly taking tons of damage. Especially if you’re a low Defense vocation. Each time you take a massive hit, you’ll get healed for 25% HP in three seconds. I just have to point out that you still cannot heal past your loss gauge.

Ring of Skullduggery

This ring works on any vocation and increases your overall damage by 20% when attacking foes from behind. I tested it and enemy hitboxes seem to work as flat panels when it comes to calculating this ring’s damage bonus. If an enemy is facing away from you, you’re hitting the back of their panel and activating the bonus damage.

This works best if your pawns are tanking and drawing attention to themselves. I got it by completing the Hunt for the Jadeite Orb quest. More specifically, you need to give Everard the real Jadeite Orb which you can purchase from Ibrahim in Checkpoint Rest Town. I forged it at Ibrahim and gave the false copy to the merchant at the entrance for a double profit.

Ring of Brawn

This ring shines when you’re planning for a fight and know exactly what you’ll be bringing to it. You get a greater boost to damage the less weight you are carrying. It can work on all vocations even though Fighters generally have heavier equipment. You just have to deposit all your gear at an Inn before a big fight or offload it to your pawns until you’re Light.

I highly recommend using this ring once you get Wyrmfire gear since that enhancement halves how heavy a gear piece is. I got this as a drop from a Minotaur and I found that the drop chance is 12.05%.

Ring of Vehemence

As you approach the mid to late-game raw damage becomes less of an issue and Knockdown Power and Resistance becomes more prevalent. The Ring of Vehemence boosts your Knockdown Power by a flat 100 making you more likely to stagger monsters.

Staggering monsters is the key combat element of tough fights since that’s where you can output the most damage and you can stack two of these Rings. You get one easily by turning in 5 Seeker’s Tokens and another one can be bought in the Volcanic Island Camp at the Armory.

Ring of Resolution

This is the defensive version of the above as the Ring of Resolution provides 100 Knockback Resistance. This goes perfectly with the Dwarven enhancement for armor. Stopping foes from knocking you down ensures you’re keeping up your DPS steadily so this ring essentially gives you more damage. I got two of them, one from Gautstafr the Dwarf by completing Put a Spring in thy Step and another as a drop from a Golem.

Ring of Aggression & Ring of Percipience

These are great early game rings where Aggression boosts your Strength by 30 and Percipience boosts your Magick by 30. They start to fall off as you reach the mid-game but they’re still crucial to starting out your journey and dealing decent damage. I bought the Ring of Aggression from a wandering merchant in front of Melve. As for Percipience, you can buy it from Grisha from the Armory in the Sacred Arbor.

That’s it for my top 10 rings in Dragon’s Dogma 2. For more Dragon’s Dogma 2 guides check out all maister skill locations and what to do with Jasper, Onyx, and Tiger’s Eye.
