With its official reveal, you might be wondering where you can pre-order the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom OLED Nintendo Switch which will release on April 28, 2023. The elegant and classic Hyrulian design for this edition of the Switch is sure to appeal to Zelda players, so here’s how you can pre-order one.

When Can I Pre-order the Legend of Zelda Nintendo Switch OLED? Answered

The short answer is: now. You can pre-order the Tears of the Kingdom OLED Switch now, but not from the official Nintendo website at the present time. Instead, you’ll have to pre-order the Switch from other retailers with Best Buy being the first to offer them. However, retailers such as Target and GameStop are now accepting pre-orders as well.

Given the popularity of The Legend of Zelda as a franchise, the Tears of the Kingdom OLED Nintendo Switch model is likely to sell out fairly fast. It’s also important to note that the game isn’t included with the Switch, so you’ll need to order Tears of the Kingdom separately. Given that the console will release before Tears of the Kingdom itself, which releases on May 12, having to purchase them separately might not come as a huge surprise.

Tears of the Kingdom is the follow-up to the popular Breath of the Wild, but it’s also the first Zelda game to receive a special edition Switch console.
