Black Myth: Wukong is an action-RPG that takes more than a little inspiration from the Souls series. The gourde is Wukong’s version of the Estus Flask, and Drinks and Soaks are used to modify its healing effects. This makes them some of the most important collectibles in the game. Let’s see where to find Drinks and Soaks in Black Myth: Wukong.
How to use Drinks and Soaks in Black Myth: Wukong
Drinks and Soaks are two halves of the same system. The first decides how much (and how rapidly) drinking from the gourde heals you while the second adds a side effect like a stat boost to the healing. To increase the number of times you can drink from the gourde before resting, you’ll need to improve the basic gourde or equip of one the special gourdes found around the world.
Before you start mixing Drinks and Soaks, you’ll need to unlock brewing. If you don’t see the Brew option while resting at a checkpoint, you’ll have to move further in the main story. Brewing is unlocked early on by talking to a monkey in Chapter 1. This same character will sell you some of the first Drinks and Soaks, as well as upgrade your gourde.
