WoW: The War Within DPS Tier List

A new expansion that brings an increased level cap and a different set of talents called Hero Talents means that there’s another power shift among classes for each role. So, let’s take a look at the best damage dealers. Here’s our WoW: The War Within DPS tier list.

Tier List for DPS in WoW: The War Within

Right now, this tier list is subject to change as Blizzard puts out patches to adjust various classes. However, it’s still worth taking a look at the current power of each DPS class, dividing them into tiers from S to C. S Tier is the best of the best, while C Tier contains classes that struggle to compete in damage output.

S Tier DPS Classes and Specializations

• Arcane Mage
• Assassination Rogue
• Elemental Shaman
• Enhancement Shaman
• Frost Death Knight
• Frost Mage

A Tier DPS Classes and Specializations

• Affliction Warlock
• Arms Warrior
• Demonology Warlock
• Feral Druid
• Fury Warrior
• Havoc Demon Hunter
• Outlaw Rogue
• Shadow Priest
• Survival Hunter
• Unholy Death Knight

B Tier DPS Classes and Specializations

• Balance Druid
• Marksman Hunter
• Retribution Paladin
• Subtlety Rogue
• Windwalker Monk

C Tier DPS Classes and Specializations

• Beast Mastery Hunter
• Destruction Warlock
• Devastation Evoker
• Fire Mage

Of course, this doesn’t mean that you can’t play classes that aren’t S or A Tier. It just means that you might struggle to keep up with the damage output of classes from higher teams. In the end, you should play the class you enjoy. If I’m just working on quests instead of going through high-end content, I’m happy to play my mage as Fire.
