Ys IX: Monstrum Nox Sacramentals are items that you can equip to provide useful benefits for your entire party. Initially, you’ll only be able to equip one Sacramental, but throughout the game, you’ll gain the ability to equip up to six at a time. These extra slots come from reading Apocrypha books, and they can be found in treasure chests, bought at vendors, or given as rewards for finding collectibles.
Finding Sacramentals is the same. Some will be in the form of a Sacramental already, and you can equip them right away. Other times, Sacramentals will be in the form of rubrics, and you need to give them to Tito back at the Dandelion. He’ll then be able to make that particular one.
They’re scattered throughout the game, and our guide will help you find all the Sacramentals and Apocrypha books.
Additionally, there is no trophy or achievement associated with the Sacramentals. They are unmissable, so feel free to collect them at your own leisure. Also note that Sacramentals and extra slots from Apocrypha books do not transfer to New Game+.

- Golden Hare Pouch: Gold acquisition rate +20%

- Eagle Eye Orb: Increased Mapping Range
- This is in a treasure chest in Emain Macha, near the Great Bell Bridge landmark. See the image below for the location
- Rakshasa Bangle: Gift Gauge Charges Faster

- Silver Hair Clasp: Rare Item Drop Rate Increase
- Turn in 12 (out of 21) Landmark locations to Alex at the Main Gate. He will give you the Clasp rubric that you must give to Tito
- Aeolus Urn: Attract Dropped Items
- A reward from Vallin when turning in 22 Graffiti Collectibles
- Ares Seal: Boost Gauge Charges Faster
- This is in a treasure chest in Ciel Canyon Trail. It gives you the Seal rubric, which you then give to Tito. See the image below for the location
- Einherjar Ring: 1/2 EXTRA Skill Cost
- A reward for giving 80 Azure Petals to Marguerite. She gives you the Ring rubric, which you then give to Tito
- Gale Boots: Increased Dash Speed
- This is in a treasure chest in Milianne Plains. It gives you the Boots rubric, which you then give to Tito. See the image below for the location
- Aesir’s Jewel: 1/2 Gift Gauge Consumption
- A reward for donating all 13 meals to Sister Mel in the Balduq Cathedral. She gives you the Jewel Rubric, which you then give to Tito. Check out our Recipes guide for more details

- In a treasure chest at the Summit of Mount El Dore landmark. See the image below for the location

- Buy from Edouard’s Bookstore (available starting at Chapter 3)

- A reward for turning in 100% map completion to Parks
- Apocrypha: Judgement
- In a treasure chest in Mundt Marsh, right in front of the Mushroom Mimetoliths landmark. See the image below for the location

- Collect and turn in all 120 Azure Petals to Marguerite
