The special Switch Pro controller coming out in celebration of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is going to be hard to find.

Nintendo announced The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Pro controller today as a surprise alongside a special Nintendo Switch OLED model. Befitting the special place the series holds in the heart of both Nintendo and the community, the Tears of the Kingdom Switch Pro controller is coming for those who want some extra shiny Zelda goodies.

While the special Tears of the Kingdom OLED model will be launching on April 28, the Tears of the Kingdom Switch Pro controller will be launching a little earlier. Nintendo also shared new gameplay details in a 10-minute Direct trailer. 

Where to Get the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Switch Pro Controller

The special release Tears of the Kingdom Pro controller will be available on the same day as the game, May 12, along with a limited carrying case. The special edition Switch Pro controller will cost $75, while the carrying case will cost $25.

While we’ve got just a little while to wait to get our hands on both The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and these goodies, pre-orders are meant to go live today (March 28, 2023) for the special edition hardware and Tears of the Kingdom itself. You can bookmark the page here

The Tears of the Kingdom Switch Pro controller, OLED Switch model, and physical Collector’s Deluxe Edition are all expected to be live for pre-order at relevant retailers at 4 p.m. EST / 1 p.m. PST.

A special physical Collector’s Deluxe Edition of the game is already up for pre-order at Best Buy and Target, and the Nintendo Store has all these goodies alongside the Tears of the Kingdom controller listed.
