Hell Let Loose Garrisons & Outposts: How to Build Spawn Points

Garrisons and outposts are important structures in Hell Let Loose, allowing any member of your army to spawn in a place of your choosing.

Garrisons and outposts are some of the most important structures you can build in Hell Let Loose. In the game’s massive, sprawling maps, whether that be Stalingrad or Omaha Beach, the ability to spawn in key points can turn the tide of a fierce battle.

In this tips guide, we will walk you through how garrisons and outposts work and tell you how to build them.

What are Garrisons and Outposts in Hell Let Loose?

In Hell Let Loose, players only spawn in one of a very limited number of HQ points. That may be fine in other shooters, but here, where map sizes are huge and players move at realistic speeds, it can take upwards of 10 minutes of walking to reach the frontlines.

Making a long march across the battlefield, just to die from a stray bullet before you even fire a shot can be aggravating. That is where outposts and garrisons come in.

Outposts and garrisons allow players to build new spawn points for their teams.

Outposts can only be used by your squad (the small group of 2-5 players within your army that you’re are grouped with). Garrisons allow any player on your team to spawn on them. That’s a massive advantage in the 50 vs 50 battles of Hell Let Loose, and these spawn points can be the difference between winning and losing.

Outposts can be built anywhere on the map and require no supplies. However, they can only be constructed by Officers and Spotters.

Garrisons can be built in green territory for 50 supplies or with two columns or rows (based on your map’s grid) in enemy territory for 100 supplies. They can be built by Commanders, Officers, and Spotters.

We go over Supplies in greater detail in this guide, but the short of it is that Supplies can be received through an airdrops from the Commander, as a box placed by Support infantry, or from one of the crates carried in supply trucks.

Stand within 50 meters of the supplies, and pull the watch out of your inventory. Select outpost or garrison as your intended structure, and place it on a flat piece of ground.

A player can only build one outpost or garrison at a time. Building a new one of either requires that you first walk up to and dismantle your existing structure. They also cannot be built within 200 meters of an outpost or garrison constructed by a teammate.

Once these structures are built, they can be destroyed manually by the enemy by standing nearby and dismantling them, or by an explosion.
