Out of all areas in Minecraft, abandoned mineshafts have the highest chance of generating one of the rarest and most valuable items in the game – a golden apple. Here we offer you a selection of 20 unique seeds for Minecraft 1.10.2, where each and every seed has multiple locations with golden apples, and thus lots of abandoned mineshafts and villages to explore.
Golden apples aren’t just excellent resources of gold, but also can be used to sate your hunger and even cure zombie villagers. An enchanted type of golden apple – known as the “Notch apple” – is an even bigger source of gold, which you will find plenty in this top 20 seeds for Minecraft 1.10, as well.
This Minecraft seed contains 7 golden apples! You will spawn in the forest area that borders with the desert, which is your main place of interest.
First, travel to -236 72 134 for a small desert village with a half-buried desert temple nearby. There is no blacksmith in the village, but the chests in the temple contain the following:
Another desert temple can be located at -243 69 -112 with your first golden apple inside and a few other cool things:
Now, it’s time to raid some dungeons and spawners! There are 2 spider spawners and 3 zombie spawners in the close vicinity. Each of them contains at least one golden apple and some other valuable resources.
Here are the coordinates of all five mob spawners with golden apples: -61 45 -49, -79 41 -68, -78 40 -88, -38 14 -27, -661 26 -195.
Get ready to find 10 golden apples! Spawn at the intersection of three biomes: savanna, forest and desert. In the western direction from the spawn point you will be able to locate two villages standing close to each other at -493 68 -333 and -654 69 -233 respectively.
There is an exposed spider spawner near the first village at -468 60 -292. It is completely engulfed in sand, so you need to clear it away. There you will find two chests containing:
If you check the area behind the second village, you will stumble upon a desert temple at -848 68 -233 with four treasure chests holding:
If you travel further underground, you will find an entrance into a massive abandoned mineshaft with lots of chests some of which contain 3 golden apples (-998 42 -113, -1098 23 30, -1110 25 62) and 5 lapis lazuli (-1005 34 -124).
The last two golden apples are hiding inside the chests of a skeleton spawner and a zombie spawner. Here are the coordinates: -298 30 28, -1082 20 28.
Spawn right next to a plains village that borders with desert biome. There you will find an abandoned mineshaft not too deep under the ground. It contains many chests with excellent loot including 3 golden apples and other resources. Here are the coordinates of the chests: 381 42 392, 293 14 464, 294 19 503.
The village at spawn has no blacksmith, but the settlement at 216 70 -405 has one with some basic stuff inside the chest. Also, there is a desert temple not too far away at 588 63 123 with the following loot:
And, don’t forget to check out two spawners. One is a zombie spawner at 537 33 360 and a skeleton spawner at 480 43 -241. Together they contain:
Spawn on the border of plains and swampland biomes. Right underneath you there is a huge abandoned mineshaft that stretches far into the swampland territory. There is an especially interesting chest at 25 17 567 holding:
There is a village and a witch hut both standing on the surface of a swamp at 157 64 -409. Another village can be found amidst a taiga forest at the following coordinates -241 68 -185.
Then, travel to 380 20 124 for a zombie spawner that is covered with soil, so you need to clear it off before you will find two chests with 2 golden apples.
One more zombie spawner is located at 118 33 507 that holds:
Here, you will spawn on the ocean shore with a village standing not too far away. A bit further on the mainland you will find another village, but this time in the desert biome at -888 69 -967.
Check out the skeleton spawner at the following coordinates -604 41 -362 with two chests containing:
Not too far away from the spawner you will be able to locate an abandoned mineshaft with some really good loot:
You will spawn in the middle of swampland biome that is adjacent to a small piece of flat plains area that is perfect for building a village of your own. There you will find some horses and a bunch of naturally generated pumpkins that can help you develop a farm.
Conveniently, right below this plot you will find a zombie spawner at -1164 15 224 that contains:
A bit further from the spawner you can locate an abandoned mineshaft with 2 golden apples (-1216 16 300, -1221 20 169) and 9 lapis lazuli (-1266 22 342).
Spawn near a village that stands on the border of swampland and plains biomes. Not too far away from the village you will find two abandoned mineshafts with 4 golden apples.
The first two chests with golden apples that also include diamonds are located at the following coordinates 78 40 251 and 68 26 497. The other two can be found at 50 12 1046 and 5 23 1053, which also contain iron ingots.
And, the best part of this survival Minecraft seed is a zombie spawner at -764 72 283 that has a chest with an extremely rare Notch apple – an enchanted type of golden apple with better effects.
Spawn at the edge of the forest hills biome with a witch hut nearby at these coordinates 77 64 171. A bit further at 32 64 24 you will notice a village with a blacksmith that has a chest containing:
A zombie spawner can be found right underneath the village at the following coordinates 32 23 11 with some cool loot:
Another zombie spawner is located at 81 42 603 with an even better set of treasure chests:
And lastly, travel to an abandoned mineshaft that has a few chests containing 2 golden apples (256 40 420, 251 40 423) and 9 redstones.
You will spawn in the plains area surrounded by extreme hills with several abandoned mineshafts underground. The first one is located at -77 27 242 with a chest packed with redstones and an Enchanted Book – Unbreaking I. There is another chest that contains a golden apple at -109 20 212.
The second abandoned mineshaft has 2 golden apples in its chests that can be found at the following coordinates 39 28 262 and 67 17 252.
Also, the first mineshaft connects to the zombie spawner at -94 21 221 with the following loot inside:
Spawn in the middle of taiga forest that has nothing but trees for many hundred blocks. However, at -776 71 542 you will finally stumble upon a village on a small patch of flat land.
Right underneath this cool village you will find an abandoned mineshaft at -799 23 648 with many chests holding:
Another golden apple is protected by a swarm of zombies at these coordinates -861 34 449. Go get it, too!
Jackpot seed with 8 golden apples! This beautiful area surrounded by a river and extreme hills hides an incredibly rich mineshaft below the ground. The coordinates to all valuable chests are following: 225 21 267, 232 20 282, 236 30 405, 230 34 465, 226 35 469, 269 25 527, 259 21 504, 286 16 587.
When you will finish collecting the loot from all the chests you will end up with:
Spawn on the ocean shore with a village nearby. If you enter the savanna territory, there you will find an abandoned mineshaft not too deep under the ground. There is a treasure chest at 280 31 83 with some goodies:
In the opposite direction you can locate a zombie spawner with a golden apple inside at these coordinates -38 44 489.
And, if you go to the southern jungles, you will stumble upon a jungle temple at 118 79 1287 containing:
Here is another village at spawn that has set itself firmly at the foot of the hill with stacks of sheep and pigs. The zombie spawner underneath the village at 160 21 195 contains a golden apple.
Further ahead there are two mineshafts. The first one is located at 44 27 -511 with a chest holding:
The second abandoned mineshaft keeps a Notch apple at 10 24 -507 – both mineshafts are positioned very close to each other.
You will spawn in the thick of taiga biome with a village at the edge of the forest not too far away (-151 71 25). There is a blacksmith in the village with some valuable resources:
The zombie spawner at these coordinates -325 54 -11 may not have too many great things, but it is the only one in this area:
However, further into the underground you will find an abandoned mineshaft with a chest at -712 23 426 containing some really good stuff:
Double desert village seed! You will spawn on the border of desert and plains biomes. The first village is located at -392 70 99 and the second one at -234 64 -171. One of the villages even has a blacksmith.
The goodies can be found at two spider spawners nearby. The first one lurks deep underground at these coordinates -132 22 -216:
The second one is much further away, but is totally worthy of your attention at 587 44 134 with chests containing:
Spawn at the junction of three biomes with a desert temple right behind you. This is not the only desert temple around, but it has better loot:
The other one is half-buried under the dunes, but you will still be able to see it from atop at -798 70 -415. The four chest inside contain:
Another golden apple can be found inside a chest located in one of many corridors of an abandoned mineshaft that resides at the following coordinates -548 28 -8.
Double ocean temple seed! You will spawn on the beach of a tiny survival island with the first ocean monument right below the water. The treasure chamber with 8 gold blocks is located at these coordinates 244 42 275.
The other ocean temple is a bit further away . First, you need to travel to a small island located at -309 70 264. Then, check the surrounding waters for the second temple that has a room with gold blocks at -336 42 119.
Here is an unusual seed with a village at spawn and a giant hole in the ground nearby that leads to two abandoned mineshafts. But first, take a look at the blacksmith’s chest in the village that contains:
The first abandoned mineshaft at -389 10 106 is absolutely huge with some really valuable chests holding:
The second mineshaft is smaller, but is totally worthy to explore. There are a couple of chests (-133 31 181) containing some more valuables you will need for your game:
This Minecraft seed will bring you to a village (47 72 145) half of which is situated in the forest and the other half on the plains – an unusual site to say the least.
A small mob spawner at -2 11 372 that is really easy to pass by has a chest with a Notch apple. And, the real “Klondike” is located at -260 31 634, which is an abandoned mineshaft with some particularly good loot:
You will spawn in the typical plains area. The fun starts in the desert, where you will find a desert temple at 134 66 -618 with exceptionally good loot:
Another awesome place is the underground mineshaft at these coordinates -4 28 -1082 that harbors many valuable chests:
And finally, get the Notch apple from a chest inside a skeleton spawner at the following coordinates 26 14 -193.
