Breeding Charizard works like any other breedable Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet. Set up a picnic and sandwiches that have the Egg power. Make sure you have cleared all other Pokemon in the party apart from Charizard and the other Pokemon used for breeding.

With this task done, you just need to wander around until eggs appear in the basket beside them.

Which Pokemon Can I Breed Charizard with?

Players who have caught a male Charizard can breed one with a Ditto. These unique Pokemon appear in Area 2 and Area 3 of West Province, near Medali, Cascarrafa, and Porto Marinada. Players can identify Dittos on the map with the Y button before confirming identity via the ZL button.

If you are lucky enough to catch a female Charizard, you can also take any male Pokemon from the Monster or the Dragon Egg groups. Eggs will always be the same species as the mom, walking around for some time should start hatching Charmander.

Charizard is one of the most iconic Pokemon in existence. It is a Fire/Flying-type creature resembling a large dragon, with an orange and yellow body, powerful wings, and a long tail tipped with fire. The Charizard's signature move is Flamethrower: it unleashes a powerful flame from its mouth at enemies.

Despite its fierce appearance, Charizard is known for its loyalty and friendship towards its trainer. Its prowess in battle is matched only by its intelligence; it can learn several moves beyond Flamethrower, making it an incredibly versatile Pokemon. With its high stats and powerful move set, Charizard continues to be a fan favorite among trainers.

Now that you know how to breed Charizard, you'll have yet another powerful 'mon to take on the Gym Leaders scattered around Paldea.
