The best way to get Fiberglass in Fallout 76 is by farming. Mindlessly searching the map for a resource is never fun, luckily you don’t have to. Here’s all Fiberglass locations and where to farm it in FO76.

Best Locations to Farm Fiberglass in Fallout 76

The easiest way to get large amounts quickly is to find junk items that contain fiberglass. Since the component material is used for modifying equipment and armor, you’re going to want to fill your backpack with as much of it as you can.

There are no treasure maps for Fiberglass. Instead, the material can be obtained by breaking down these various junk items in Fallout 76:

  • Abraxo Cleaner Industrial Grade: x2 Fiberglass
  • Aluminum Canister: x1 Fiberglass
  • Blood Sac: x2 Fiberglass
  • Cigar Box: x2 Fiberglass
  • Composite Ski: x2 Fiberglass
  • Fiberglass Spool: x1 Fiberglass
  • Industrial Cleaner: x2 Fiberglass
  • Jangles the Moon Monkey: x1 Fiberglass
  • Rat Poison: x1 Fiberglass
  • Telephone: x1 Fiberglass
  • Undamaged Abraxo Cleaner: x1 Fiberglass

When venturing out on quests in the wasteland, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for these items. While things like Industrial Grade Abraxo Cleaner and Industrial Cleaner give x2 Fiberglass, finding them consistently and in high quantities can be difficult.

Instead, let’s take a look at two places you’ll find plenty of scrap to break down for the resource.

Fiberglass Scrap Farming Locations

Head to the Whitespring Resort and collect all Telephones. There are plenty to nab within the Resort itself, but you also want to check the exterior shops, as well as the maintenance shacks along the Whitespring Golf Course. The resort has multiple workbenches that you can scrap them at, so you don’t have to worry about getting overencumbered.

The Pleasant Valley Ski Resort near Top Of The World is another decent spot for farming Fiberglass due to the sheer volume of Composite Skis. Skis are lying around the front of the buildings and inside hanging on ski racks.

Fiberglass Junk Pile Farming

If you’re not interested in wandering through different locations to collect scrap, you may be able to harvest Fiberglass Spools from Junk Piles. These are found in various areas and are just waiting to be pillaged. Using a Junk Extractor will increase your yield from the pile, which increases your chances of getting Fiberglass.

You can find Junk Piles at these locations:

  • Charleston Landfill
  • Converted Munitions Factory
  • Dabney Homestead
  • Gorge Junkyard
  • Red Rocket Mega Stop
  • Sunshine Meadows Industrial Farm
  • Tyler County Dirt Track

You may stumble on a Junk Pile while exploring, too. So keep your eyes peeled for them and dive their depths for potential Fiberglass.

Farming Fiberglass from Wendigos

Wendigos consistently drop Fiberglass Spools as loot when slain. Depending on the level and type of enemy, you could end up with 5+ spools, as well as the other items they drop. There are three spots I visit when hunting Wendigos:

  • Freddy Fear’s House of Scares
  • Wendigo Cave
  • Monongah Mine during ‘A Colossal Problem’

You want to be prepared for a long fight if you head to the mine during the event, as you’ll be facing off against the Wendigo Colossus and large mobs of Wendigo Spawn. Survive it with time to loot and you’ll have a nice stockpile of Fiberglass.

Buy Bulk Fiberglass

Rather not fight or farm for Fiberglass? You can always buy it at any NPC vendors. Ideally, you want to get Bulk Fiberglass. It takes up less space in your inventory and gives you x10 Fiberglass.

I typically check all Ammo vending machines that I see, as they often sell bulk materials. You may get it from Vault-Tec Supply Crates in the Atomic Shop. It’s hit or miss if it’ll show up, but if you only need a small amount of the material it may be worth the Caps investment to save you a little time farming it.

Those are all the ways you can find Fiberglass and best locations to farm it in Fallout 76. Check out our guide vault for other resource farming locations, quest walkthroughs, and more.
