The Wish-Ender Exotic Bow is one of the oldest and most powerful Bows in Destiny 2. It dates back to the Forsaken expansion and remains one of the most effective Exotic primaries available today, provided you use it correctly. With the power to identify enemies through walls, intrinsic Anti-Barrier arrows, and damage to outstrip almost every other Bow, it’s well worth your time acquiring. Here’s how to get it.
How to Get the Wish-Ender Exotic Bow in Destiny 2
Before anything, make sure you own the Forsaken pack on your platform of choice. It costs $19.99, and you get the Dreaming City destination, the Last Wish Raid, and most importantly, the Shattered Throne Dungeon. We won’t go into how to complete the dungeon here, only describing the steps for the Hunter’s Remembrance quest that awards the Bow.
Note also that you’ll want an open slot in your Kinetic weapon inventory, as you’ll need to acquire an Exotic momento from Petra Venj that will go there. I know of too many instances of items not going to the Postmaster, and you don’t want that to happen with a quest iem.
To get the momento that starts Hunter’s Remembrance for Wish-Ender, head to the Tower and to the kiosk to the left of the Postmaster. Select the bottom-left panel and pick up the quest.
The quest asks you to defeat three specific enemies in the Shattered Throne Dungeon:
- A Minotaur
- A Captain
- An Ogre
To earn the Wish-Ender, you need to find and defeat these hidden enemies scattered about the Shattere Throne. You won’t need to complete the Dungeon to get the Bow, as once all the named enemies lie dead, you can approach a large well-lit statue to claim the Exotic.

Where to Find and Defeat the Minotaur
Shortly after starting the Dungeon in the Erebus encounter, defeat the initial wave of adds, then, rather than seeking out the symbol platform, head left to the Tower of the Deep. Climb onto the head of the Awoken statue buried in the rock, then jump across to the platform beyond it.
You’ll pick up a glowing orb at the back of the platform, then jump back onto the statue’s head and across to the platform above the entrance to the area. Deposit the orb in the smaller Awoken statue at the platform’s back.
At this point, two huge Minotaurs will appear. One of them is Querim, the Waking. Destroy it and its partner.
Where to Find and Defeat the Captain
The most complicated step in the Wish-Ender quest is finding the Captain. You need to complete the Erebus encounter after defeating the MInotaur and proceed through to the Descent portion of the Dungeon. When you reach the rafters with the Taken Ogres.
Clear the Ogres all the way to the Thrallway, then return to the entrance. The second orb is to the right of the starting platform, behind a pillar.
Carry the orb to the far wall, where two more sets of small Awoken statues are set. You’ll need to jump to the leftmost one to deposit, and you’ll get a voice line from Riven if you’re in the right area.
You do not want to die (or team wipe) until you defeat Eriviks, as doing so will reset all the orbs, and if you jump down from the Thrallway ledge then die at any point before Eriviks dies, you’ll need to restart the whole Dungeon.
With that in mind, head into the Thrallway, then head into the first alcove on the right for the third orb.
You’ll need to carry the orb all the way through the Thrallway, then jump down — again to the right — and deposit the orb in the small Awoken statue.
From the statues, make your way through the exit, and rather than turning right to continue the Dungeon, a new door directly in front of you will be open. This is Eriviks’s arena.
Jump onto the central platform to start the fight, then immediately jump back onto the sides as hordes of Taken Psions will begin to swarm you. After defeating about two-thirds of them, Eriviks will appear but not leave the central area. Clear the remaining Psions, defeat the boss, and you will receive the Waking Token of Eriviks.
How to Find and Defeat the Ogre
Make your way to the Vorgeth encounter and start it as you usually would. Kill the Wizards, collect Marks, and dunk Burdens. But, rather than immediately doing damage to the boss, look for a red-bar Minotaur to spawn near the back of the room named the Fleeting Shade.
Killing the Shade will cause the final orb to spawn.
Grab the orb and travel along the right side of the room. You’ll pass an initial set of small Awoken statues, and the deposit point will be among the second set.
Once you deposit, Xavoth, the Waking will spawn. It’s also a boss-level Ogre and tends to stick near Vorgeth, but it’s much weaker than the Shattered Throne boss and lacks an immunity shield. Defeat it to to earn your way to the Bow you seek.
How to Get the Wish-Ender
With all three tokens in your inventory, defeat Vorgeth and make your way to the Sjur Eido statue. She will say a few words then you can approach and collect the Exotic Bow. If you’d like, you can leave the Shattered Throne at this point, as competing is not a requisite for getting or keeping Wish-Ender.
Now you can take your new weapon out into the field, where one of its best-performing areas is in higher-difficulty Nightfalls thanks to its high damage, intrinsic Anti-Barrier, and ability to see through walls when fully drawn.
The Wish-Ender is great in activities like the Proving Grounds Grandmaster Nightfall and can even be good in other Master-level challenges like the Root of Nightmares Raid.
