  • Power: 1.0; becomes 2.0 at Level 5.
  • Ammo Capacity: 10; becomes 18 at Level 5.
  • Reload Speed: 1.0; becomes 1.4 at Level 5.

  • Ammo Capacity: 19; becomes 31 at level 5.
  • Reload Speed: 0.9; becomes 1.3 at level 5.
  • Rate of Fire: 1.19; becomes 2.0 at level 5.

So which gun is better to use, the SG-09 R or the Sentinel 9? The clear-cut winner between the SG-09 R and Sentinel Nine in Resident Evil 4 remake is the Sentinel 9.

Although the two pistols have the same exclusive perks and possible attachments, and most stats are nearly identical, the Sentinel Nine trumps its counterpart by having more ammo in a clip.

If you like having extra bullets to spare before reloading, especially in hectic firefights, then this is the option you’ll want. However, you do need to shell out some extra cash since it’s a DLC weapon.

And there you have it: which handgun is better between the Sentinel 9 and SG-09. Be sure to pick up the Red9 handgun in Chapter 4. Or the Compliance achievement in Chapter 12. For more on Resident Evil 4 remake, head over to our RE4 remake guides page here
