How to Quickly Farm Zeolite and Osmium in The Planet Crafter

Clever usage of game mechanics confirmed this time.

Zeolite and Osmium are the two late-game ores that you can get in Planet Crafter. These are usually locked out in the early game, but there is a way to get a lot of them quickly while bypassing the limitations of the game that are imposed on you. It’s a funny method, I promise!

How to Get Zeolite and Osmium Early in Planet Crafter

Zeolite and Osmium are actually pretty close to your starting location. All you have to do is head East (through the narrow ravine visible from your landing spot), and you’ll end up in an area that has a lot of thin, stone “needles.” If you keep right, you’ll end up in a cave, where you’ll find the ice that will progressively melt as you build up your base. However, since we can’t go through this cave, we’ll go above it. Just keep right, next to the stone mass. I’ll show you screenshots every step of the way.

For this mystical journey, the starting coordinates are (412:7:-280). I advise you to bring enough materials to build a small living quarter and a door (3x Iron, 2x Titanium, 1x Silicon). Also, bring some Iron for a storage chest or two. This might be a good starting location for your portable base. I’ll explain why later.

Climb up right until you hit the wall, and then turn right. Follow the wall that’s on your left and turn right just as you pass the small arch.

Follow the pathway as pictured below:

You will eventually venture into a blue/violet-colored zone, which is indeed strange, but keep going.

When you make it to the edge, you’ll spot resources below. This indicates that you’ve made it. Just try to land safely (you can always jump down these rocks step by step).

When you head deeper into this zone, you’ll see that your color layout has once again been changed. It’s now black and white. Like you’re on some abandoned planet, who would have thought?

Here is what Osmium looks like from a close range.

And here’s what the Zeolite looks like. Now, you may be wondering: “How the heck do I come back?” and I have two possible solutions for you, both of them being goofy in their own sense.

How to Get Back After Farming Zeolite and Osmium

The first method use can use is to build a jetpack and use it to “hug” the walls of this area while running forward. Eventually, propel yourself enough above ground level to overcome this obstacle.

The second method would be to intentionally “pass out” due to a lack of Oxygen and/or Food (Health) and/or Water.

You will be transported to the closest home you’ve built with half of your resources gone. Dump the remaining half in this makeshift home you’ve made and do the same process again. Yes, this is a loss of time because you keep losing half of your resources, but it’s probably the only way to get Osmium and Zeolite before the game allows you to.

Maybe I can interest you in some secret underground bunker locations? Or how to get Fabric? More guides are available at our Planet Crafter game hub.
