Your schedule is packed tight in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Nonetheless, you’ve likely got your eye on one of the guys or gals available to date and eventually marry in town.

How to Get Married in SoS: FoMT

The requirements for this have remained mostly steady since Back to Nature:

Get a character’s heart up to a red heart via gift giving and seeing/participating in their heart events. Once a character reaches a new heart level, you can find them at the right time and place to trigger the event for that tier.
Upgrade your house twice, to the Big House.
1. It costs 150 Lumber, 50 Material Stone, and 3000G for the first upgrade, to the Slightly Bigger House.
2. It costs 600 Lumber, 250 Material Stone, and 10000G for the second upgrade, to the Big House.
Buy the Large Bed from the shop.
Give your love interest a Preserved Flower, one of which will be given to you for free after triggering a character’s red heart event.

In the item listings below, items that are particularly easy to obtain are underlined to make this whole process easier. I know I end up giving people pretty much the same things over and over, it’s likely you will too.

Popuri’s Likes and Dislikes

Popuri and her mother have a distinct feature from the rest of Mineral Town’s residents: their pink hair and red eyes.

Popuri helps her brother run the chicken farm, with her mother on sales duty. She’s certainly the bubbliest of the girls you could marry in Friends of Mineral Town and would love to leave and see the world, but she’s a country girl at heart and isn’t too keen on exotic or spicy foods.

Her birthday is on Summer 3, and Kai will be your rival for her affections.

Mineral Town’s very own tomboy tsundere, Ran spends most of her time helping her father run the inn — though she can be found each morning at the Goddess’ Pond soaking in nature.

She is quite the cook thanks to working at the inn, and naturally she’s keen on receiving foods as gifts.

Ran’s birthday is Summer 17, and the rival for her attention is Cliff. In the original game, her name was Ann.

Taking care of Ellen and Yu keeps Elly plenty busy and grounded, and she has a clear crush on Doctor from the outset. Young love isn’t permanent though, and she can be won over with a little effort and a lot of grass.

Elly’s birthday is on Spring 16, and your rival for her affections is Doctor.

Jennifer and Brandon are brand new to this Friends of Mineral Town release, and are fairly easy to woo compared to the classic characters.

Jennifer herself lives in a tent up on the hill, and likes to talk about spirituality. Interestingly, she gets along well with Popuri’s mother, Lillia. Out of place and mostly talking about chakras, she’s a far cry from the other girls in Mineral Town.

Jennifer’s birthday is on Winter 2.

Outgoing and smart, Karen spends a fair amount of time both helping her parents around the shop and hanging out with Rick.

Karen’s birthday is on Fall 15, and Rick is the very obvious rival for her attention.

You can most often find Marie tending the library, though she heads up to Mother’s Hill with her family on her days off. Timid and more than busy, she prefers to take things slowly.

Marie’s birthday is on Winter 20, and your rival for her affection is Gray… provided he doesn’t leave town.
