God of War: Ragnarok — Lyngbakr Island Collectibles Guide

Here's where to find all of the collectibles in Svartalfheim's Lyngbakr Island location in God of War: Ragnarok.

Svartalfheim is God of War: Ragnarok‘s first big, open area, full of places to explore during and between main story quests. Within this region is the Bay of Bounty, which you’ll reach after visiting Nidavellir, and it’s full of smaller sub-areas like Lyngbakr Island. However, you will likely be unable to explore much of the island or get any of its collectibles the first time you visit it.

To open the island to further exploration, you’ll need to start the Weight of Chains Favor by visiting the locked door at The Watchtower west of Radsvinn’s Rig; be sure to grab the collectibles at The Watchtower while you’re there. Once you start the Favor, you’ll gain access to the full extent of Lyngbakr Island.

Note: Unlike some other areas in God of War: Ragnarok, you can get all of the collectibles during the Weight of Chains Favor.

Here’s what you can expect to find:

  • x1 Lore Marker
  • x1 Odin’s Raven
  • x1 Legendary Chest

Lore Marker (Regarding the Removal of Resources)

Dock on the island’s south side (after using the drum in the Favor), climb the wall, defeat the enemies, and cut the first set of chains. Then follow the path back to where you climbed up initially, and jump the gap to its right. Defeat the enemies in the path, and climb the chain on the right. Turn right at the top to see it.

Artifact (Kvasir’s Poems – We Who Remain Pt.2)

From the Lore Marker, turn around and climb up the wall in front of you. Turn left at the top, then use your Blades to grapple across the gap. Continue forward, then jump another gap. Interact with the body to the right.

Odin’s Raven

After you pick up the Firebomb during the Favor, destroy the gold barrier near the chain you climbed to find the Lore Marker. Jump the gap, and follow the path through the tunnel on the right. Look left when you emerge to see the Raven perched on the cliffs.

Legendary Chest: Reward: Rond of Aggravation)

After cutting the third tether on the island’s tail, use the zipline to reach a lower area to cut the chain. The Legendary Chest will be in front of you, to the right, when you land.

Those are all of the collectibles to find on Lyngbakr Island. Be sure to visit Radsvinn’s Rig, Althjof’s Rig, and Dragon Beach while you’re in the area, too, before heading off to the mines. Visit our God of War: Ragnarok guides hub for more tips.
