Thunder Tier One players usually get accompanied by AI bots in single player. Unfortunately, these bots don’t always do things that benefit your game. They tend to alert enemies when you least want it, or catch enemy fire when it’s really not the time for their shenanigans.

Our guide will show you how to play Lonewolf without bots in Thunder Tier One. You will learn how to turn off those pesky AI companions, including a couple of workarounds.

How to Play Lone Wolf in Thunder Tier One

There are two ways how players can eliminate AI bots from their game sessions in Thunder Tier One, but the most common way is to simply turn off the AI in the game menu.

Here’s what you need to do in order to play Lone Wolf:

  1. Go to the game’s main menu
  2. Select “Single Player” option
  3. Click on “Single Mission” tab
  4. Go to “Settings” menu
  5. Set the “Lone Wolf” option to “YES”

Now you will be able to play all of your single player missions without the AI bots and not only the ones that are specifically made for single player runs.

If you don’t want to turn off the bots completely and simply want to have an option to keep them away for one or two missions, then you can use in-game commands to do so.

Follow these steps to keep your AI companions at bay during certain missions:

  1. Start campaign with AI bots
  2. Aim your mouse at the bots
  3. Press left Alt key on your keyboard
  4. Select “Cover/Defend” command

This will keep your AI bots at the respawn point without following you any further into the field of the given mission.
