Mojang is currently testing a few of the first official snapshots for the upcoming part two of Caves and Cliffs update, so there is no need to download and install the experimental snapshots separately.
As for the current official release version of Minecraft 1.17.1, then it is time to go back into the overworld, where all the exciting things still take place in the old biome generation format.
In this month's selection of top Minecraft seeds you'll discover clusters of structures, such as villages, temples, mansions, islands, etc. So check them all out right now!
Spawn in a beautiful icy kingdom with four snow villages within 150 blocks one from each other.
There are several patches of ice spikes biomes all around, and at coordinates -350, -350 and -350, 250 you will find two igloos.
To the south you will also find a massive frozen ocean!
If you like hotter biomes, then here you will spawn on a shattered savanna plateau with two different types of villages: one accommodating the plains half, and the other one the savanna half.
To the north there is also an even hotter desert with two more villages at coordinates 50, -350 and -450, -500.
At times Minecraft can surprise and spawn you in a place where all kinds of anomalies take place.
For example, in this seed you will spawn on the border of both cold and hot biomes with a desert village stuck in between them all.
On top of that, there is a totally buried desert temple at coordinates 200, 100.
You will spawn on the edge of a jungle biome next to a taiga village that stands very close to jungle temple, which is well hidden in the bamboo biome at coordinates 50, 50.
A bit to the north there is another jungle temple at coordinates 200, -350, but this time there is no village to accompany it.
Island village surrounded by icebergs at spawn!
This would've been a very hard survival seed, if the village weren't connected to a chain of icebergs that go all the way up to the mainland.
Also, if you follow the icebergs to the south, you will arrive at a mushroom island at coordinates -300, 200.
Three villages and exposed ruined portal at spawn!
Two of the villages can be found on the savanna biome at coordinates 50, 50 and 200, -200, while the third one is located on the desert biome at coordinates -200, -150.
The ruined portal can be seen on the edge of the forest biome at coordinates 50, -300.
Spawn on a mushroom island with a village on the ocean shore!
To the east you will find a desert temple at coordinates 300, 100, and to your west you will discover an ocean monument at coordinates -350, 250.
If you want to use this seed to complete the survival campaign, then you can find a stronghold on a snow biome at coordinates -750, -1600.
Usually, woodland mansions can be found away from spawn, but in this seed you get both the mansion and the village right at spawn.
Another weird coincidence is that mansion is relatively tiny to what you usually find in Minecraft. This one is probably one of the smallest woodland mansions you will ever find.
Here's a Minecraft seed for those who like to speedrun!
You will spawn on an ocean shore less than a thousand blocks away from the stronghold, which can be found at coordinates -1100, -650.
The end portal inside the stronghold has all 12 eyes activated, so you can just jump in and start fighting the Ender Dragon right away.
And, this is another speedrunner's heaven seed, but from a slightly different angle.
Here you get to spawn in a snow village with an exposed ruined portal that will take you straight to the nether fortress.
Pretty soon you'll be able to farm the blaze rods and make your way to the realm of End.
Snow biomes can be really fun to explore, especially when there are three igloos in close vicinity at coordinates:
But the best part about this seed is that all three igloos have basements with treasure chests and plenty of loot for your survival game.
You will find yourself standing at the foot of a strange monolith, fortunately with a nice village nearby.
This pillar could be used for building a watchtower that will provide a nice overview of the area.
At coordinates 320, 250 you can stock up on some resources at the local desert temple.
There is around ten biomes at spawn, two villages, exposed mineshaft, and a ruined portal.
This is a highly diverse Minecraft seed that will satisfy the needs even of the most demanding survivalists.
The landscape is both beautiful and worth exploring for all the hidden gems, especially the ones found in the mineshaft.
What if a house in your village was a jungle temple? Well, you have the chance to find an answer to that question in this seed.
After you spawn, go to coordinates 50, 50 and find a village with one of its huts being stuck inside the temple.
This monster of a structure will surely give you a few good laughs.
Spawn on a very unusual survival island with a village that stands right on top of an ocean monument.
There is another one nearby at coordinates 150, -250, and one more a bit further to the north at coordinates 600, -500.
With so much gold and other resources you should be able to survive just fine in the middle of the ocean.
In this seed the luck strikes three times, as you spawn in an area with three villages at the following coordinates:
The latter one has two blacksmiths, which really speeds things up, as well as, an exposed ruined portal that stands between the first two villages at coordinates 100, -250.
Whether you like it or not, Minecraft often puts players in the most challenging situations.
For example, here you will spawn on an island with a village. But it is isolated by a giant ravine that is really hard to pass through in order to get to the village.
But once you do, the reward is totally worth it!
As you spawn, you will have two choices: either go west and allocate two savanna villages at coordinates -300, 50 and -450, -200, or go east and find a desert village with an exposed ruined portal at coordinates 50, 50.
If you choose the latter, then the portal will lead you straight into the halls of nether fortress.
Spawn in a plains oasis in the middle of the desert with not one but two pillager outposts at coordinates -150, 250 and 50, 50.
If this sort of challenge isn't up your alley, then head up north to coordinates -250, -250 and find shelter inside a village with desert temple.
What could be the reason for the ship to sink? In Minecraft, it is possible that some witchcraft was used in conjunction with the drowned zombies.
See it for yourself at coordinates 50, 50, where you will find a shipwreck right next to exposed ocean ruins and a witch hut.
