How to Unlock and Redeem Far Cry 6 Pre-Order DLC

Pre-order Far Cry 6 and wondering how to access your DLC and Season Pass content in-game? Here's how to unlock and redeem your items.

Far Cry 6 is out now on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. If you pre-purchased anything other than the regular ol’ base game — meaning the Gold, Ultimate, or Collector’s Editions — you’ll also have a number of DLC items to access in-game. And you may be wondering how to unlock and redeem your pre-order DLC.

Luckily, you don’t have to do much to unlock and redeem your Far Cry 6 pre-order DLC content. So how do you do it? Easy: play the game through the tutorial and first handful of missions ending in The Guerilla.

Once you complete that mission, arriving at the Libertad HQ hideout on Zamok Archipelago, most of your DLC content will unlock automatically.

This includes content for both the Far Cry 6 Season Pass and the Ultimate Pack, though it does not yet include the Vaas, Pagan, and Joseph post-launch episodes, which will release at a future date.

You’ll unlock:

  • Everything in the Blood Dragon set
    • AJM9 auto pistol
    • Kobracon sniper rifle
    • Omega Enforcer vehicle (not ride)
    • KillStar weapon charm
    • K-9000 Amigo
    • Bloody Dragon vehicle cosmetic
  • Everything in Ultimate Pack:
    • Croc Hunter Pack
      • 45/70-T Rifle
      • 45/70 Cartridge ride cosmetic
      • Croc Tooth weapon charm
      • The Bushwhacker outfit
      • Off-Road
    • Jungle Expedition Pack
      • Compass weapon charm
      • SBS shotgun
      • The Adventurer outfit
    • Vice Pack
      Champagne amigo
      Golden Bullion weapon charm
      Letter Opener ride cosmetic
      The Miami Strip outfit
      Convertible

Some items, such as the SBS shotgun and 45/70-T rifle, aren’t immediately unlocked after they become available in-game. You’ll still need to either find these in Libertad of FND caches or buy them from Juan’s weapon dealers.

Strangely, some other items, such as the Adventurer’s outfit set and the convertible vehicle, can be found in your inventory or at a vehicle pickup location immediately, no extra unlocks required.
