Awakening’s Real Sound is a quest in Genshin Impact. In it, you’ll need to solve puzzles and look for objects so you can play a tune on Kory Drums. The walkthrough guide below tells you where to find all the Drums and provides the solutions for each Trial, including the sequence at the end.
How to Complete Awakening’s Real Sound and Find the Kory Drums in Genshin Impact
The Awakening’s Real Sound and Find the Kory Drums quest becomes available once you’ve done the initial step of Khvarena of Good and Evil. After talking to Zurvan at the oasis, this can be tracked via the quest panel.
Go to the marked location further north in the canyon, and talk to the NPC. You’re told about various notes related to the large tree in the area. You’ll need to gather all five of them to proceed.
Don’t worry, though: they’re marked on your map. However, you might need to battle a few enemies to get to them. After you’re done with this task, you’ll need to complete three trials, which are also marked on your map.

Hydro Trial Kory Drum
This part of the Awakening’s Real Sound quest takes place in the eastern portion of the map. You’ll see a cavern that’s filled with water, as well as a bell that can be rung.
Once you interact with the bell, several particles will spawn in mid-air. Your goal is to switch to Sorush and grab the four-leaf sigil (i.e., red grapple point). Then, glide a bit and place it in a mid-air spot.
With proper repositioning, your character will be able to grapple and grab all of the particles. Do this three times as the water level decreases, and you’ll be able to pick up the Kory Drum down below.

Electro Trial Kory Drum
This trial takes place in the center of the region and is fairly easy. Once there, just interact with the bell to spawn enemies, including Slimes and a Lawachurl. After killing all of them, you’ll be able to pick up the Kory Drum.

Pyro Trial Kory Drum
This trial can be found in the western portion of the map. Your task is to interact with the bell and then move around to light all seven braziers.
However, you do need to move quickly since the flames will dissipate after some time passes. If you fail your first attempt, Sorush will guide you as you walk around.

Kory Drums Puzzle Solution
After you find all the Kory Drums, it’s time to do the Awakening’s Real Sound Kory Drums Puzzle. Return to the large tree north of the canyon and place all five Kory Drums in their spots.
