The Hymn of Tir Yazad is a subquest quest in Genshin Impact and the last part of the larger Khvarena of Good and Evil quest chain. It will take you to strange locations and Defiled Chambers, tasking you with getting Spenta Hearts. Here’s our guide to help you complete the mission.

How to Complete the Hymn of Tir Yazad Quest in Genshin Impact

The Hymn of Tir Yazad quest becomes available once you’ve completed the quest, As the Khvarena’s Light Shows. Make your way to the marked location, and you’ll be greeted by the Pari nymphs that you’ve met throughout your journey.

Your goal now is to place the Great Songs of Khvarena in the receptacles. The first one is a straightforward task, but the other spots are sealed by corruption.

To cleanse these areas, you’ll have to defeat nearby enemies or use Sorush to grapple to the top of the spires so you can destroy the dark orbs.

When you’re done, talk to the Pari, which will cause the Tunigi Hollow pit to open up. Jump into the crevice and you’ll be taken to a mysterious cavern.

Defiled Chambers and Spenta Hearts

In this next part of the Hymn of Tir Yazad quest, you’ll want to use your grapple and Sorush’s powers to make it across gaps. As you’re climbing, you’ll see portals that lead to Defiled Chambers. Think of these as mini-domains of sorts, with a few notable mechanics:

  • If you activate Sorush and hold the interact button, she can reveal moving platforms, allowing you to cross. Alternatively, characters like Kazuha and Wanderer can provide extra verticality.
  • Farrwicks will float around once you touch them, and they’ll free Rifthounds that you need to kill. Likewise, they’ll let you pick up wispy orbs called Spenta Hearts (each Defiled Chamber has two Spenta Hearts).
  • Use your grapple to reach the exit, though Sorush will sometimes spawn her own grapple points you can latch onto.

The third and final Defiled Chamber is somewhat different than the others, as it takes you to a frozen lake. After getting teleported to the maze, go right to find a Farrwick and the first Spenta Heart.

Next, switch to Sorush, and fly up to get a good view of the area. This should let you see the correct path that leads to the second Farrwick/Spenta Heart and the exit.

After you complete these objectives, head to the marked location to see Tunigi Hollow fully cleansed. This will complete the Hymn of Tir Yazad quest in Genshin Impact.

That’s how to complete the Hymn of Tir Yazad quest in Genshin Impact. Don’t forget that there are other activities you can tackle, such as Heart of Amrita/Plumes of Purifying Light, Pale Fire/Fravashi Trees, and Monumental Study/Lost Monument Fragments.
