Destiny 2: The Spire of the Watcher Dungeon Loot Table

The loot in Destiny 2's Spire of the Watcher Dungeon offers some great weapons and armor. Find out what each encounter drops in this table guide.

The Spire of the Watcher Dungeon, new to Season of the Seraph in Destiny 2, introduces some fantastic new weapons and three new sets of cowboy-themed Tex Mechanica armor. With all of that up for grabs, you may be looking for a loot table, so you know which chests have a chance of dropping what.

As the featured Dungeon until Season 21, it will also be endlessly farmable whether you’ve completed it on a character or not. The only limit on your loot is your chances for the new Exotic — one attempt per character per week.

New Spire of the Watcher Dungeon Armor and Weapons Loot Table

The first encounter in Spire of the Watcher, Reestablish Power, lacks any reward chest and serves only as a means to access the Ares facility itself. You don’t earn the first of three chests until you complete the Ascend the Spire encounter.

Ascend the Spire Weapons and Armor Loot Table

Once you’ve powered the three gravity lifts and connected the final set of Arc node circuits, the first chest will spawn below the door that opens. You can get any of the following weapons for completing Ascend the Spire:

  • The Long Arm Legendary Scout Rifle. The Long Arm is like the Dead Man’s Tale Exotic Scout. A lever-action, hipfire-centric weapon with its Origin Trait, it reloads the same and uses the base model. Don’t expect it to perform as well as DMT, but it’s a great Arc option.
  • The Seventh Seraph Assault Rifle. A reprised weapon from back in Season of the Worthy, the Seventh Seraph AR is a good option in most situations, but as an AR, it’s in a very awkward place in the Destiny 2 sandbox. In short, it’s good but is outclassed by almost everything else.
  • The Terminus Horizon Light Machine Gun. A hard-hitting option, the Terminus Horizon is another good Arc LMG, but like ARs, LMGs are still in something of a weird position. They’re great for add control, but despite all the buffs the weapon class has received, LMGs are best as support weapons in a fireteam. For the most challenging endgame content, there are more effective options.

You can also earn the following armor pieces from the Ascend the Spire chest:

  • Head armor
  • Gauntlets
  • Leg armor

Dungeon armor tends to have a higher stat line than what you’d find out in the world, and while not every piece is perfect, you’re more likely to get a set with stats you can use than elsewhere.

Akelous, The Siren’s Current Weapons and Armor Loot Table

You earn your second loot chest for defeating Akelous, The Siren’s Current. While the boss is a direct lift from the Garden of Salvation Raid, reaching the damage phase here takes entirely different steps. Once Akelous lies in ruins, you can receive one of the following weapons.

  • The Terminus Horizon Machine Gun. This LMG is the only one you can earn in multiple encounters and is available no matter which you complete.
  • The Seventh Seraph Officer Revolver. A Kinetic Hand Cannon with a 180 RPM fire rate, the Officer Revolver was one of the stronger Hand Cannon options when released several years ago, but there are now dozens of better ones in the wild. Even its ability to summon Warmind Cells is no longer as useful as it once was. Getting the Officer Revolver is an excellent way to get infusion fuel for your other weapons.

You can also earn the following armor pieces from the Silence the Siren loot chest

  • Gauntlets
  • Chest Armor
  • Class Item (Bond for Warlocks, Cloak for Hunters, Mark for Titans)

Persys, Primordial Ruin Weapons and Armor Loot Table

For defeating Persys, Primordial Ruin, the final boss in the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon, you earn one last chest, and this one has the largest loot pool and some of the most sought-after rewards in the activity. The weapons you can earn are:

  • The Terminus Horizon LMG is back for the third time. One wonders why, but Destiny wouldn’t be Destiny without the possibility of getting what you don’t want no matter where you are.
  • The Liminal Vigil Sidearm. While Sidearms aren’t optimal in most situations, the Liminal Vigil is as close as we’ve had to the return of Breachlight, the other two-shot burst option from Season of the Worthy. As a Stasis weapon, it has some synergy with that subclass, and it looks badass to boot.
  • The Wilderflight Grenade Launcher. The first Special Ammo Grenade Launcher in Destiny 2 that fires two fast-moving, remote detonation projectiles at once, Wilderflight, properly rolled, is an absolute beast. Having a good GL in your back pocket has always been a good strategy for high-end solo content, and that tradition continues here.
  • The Hierarchy of Needs Exotic Bow. The real treasure at the end of the Spire of the Watcher, the Hierarchy of Needs is an incredibly unique bow that can generate a floating and stationary damage buff that increases its arrow damage based on how far they travel after passing through it. It’s also a high-damage bow by default, so while it is a Destiny 2 bow and niche by definition, it’s still a fun weapon.

You can also earn any of the armor pieces available in the Dungeon from the Prompt Critical loot chest, whether you’ve already collected it or not.

That’s everything you need to know about the loot table for the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon in Destiny 2. You can earn some seriously cool weapons and armor as part of this activity, and thankfully it’s not a super difficult Dungeon to run, though it can take a little longer than is probably necessary.
