The Shovel Knight outfit (armor?) is one of the more unique skins in the game — there’s even a shovel that comes with it, which can be used as a regular melee weapon to fight off enemies. However, it’s not exactly clear how to unlock the Dead Cells Shovel Knight skin, so we’ve got you covered with this guide.

How to Unlock the Shovel Weapon
The first step to getting the Shovel Knight outfit is to get the shovel weapon. To do that, you’ll have to fight the enemies in the graveyard.
Specifically, you’ll need to find the Swarm Zombies, which are dangerous enemies that can spawn Corpse Flies at will. Kill plenty, because the Shovel’s drop rate is abysmally low, and acquire the Shovel blueprint from them.
How to Get the Shovel Knight Outfit
Once you have the shovel, go to High Peak Castle and scour the area to find a painting of Shovel Knight himself. You’ll have to look through the whole area and hope you can get lucky since it spawns in different places each run. Be careful as you explore: there are tough enemies here!
Destroy the painting with the Shovel weapon and you’ll earn the Shovel Knight outfit.
