Minecraft 1.19 snapshot 22w13a includes ancient cities, a new type of the underground settlements located in the deep dark biome, and does not require a manual installation.
The new snapshot also adds Allay, a passive flying mob, which can be used for transporting items, and thus greatly increasing the chances of survival. These mobs typically spawn inside pillager outposts and woodland mansions.
Our monthly guide of the top Minecraft seeds includes an ancient city at spawn, some rare island villages, settlements encircled inside mountains, and many other cool features.
It is extremely hard to find ancient cities due to their Y-coordinates positioned below zero, but this seed will get you one right at spawn at coordinates 100, -30, 50.
This particular ancient city is hidden inside a giant dripstone cave. You will also find plenty of sculk and reinforced deepslate blocks here, as well as the infamous warden mobs of the deep dark biome.
Village with double blacksmith at spawn!
This nice surprise will await you south of spawn at coordinates 150, 200. But that's not it, as there are two more villages at coordinates -200, -150 and 200, -200.
On the southern hills, you will also find a pillager outpost, which stands exactly at coordinates -200, 250, where you may find a new Allay mob.
Spawn on a small survival island that has one of the rarest biomes in Minecraft: shattered savanna. There is also a village and an exposed ruined portal.
At coordinates 350, 50 you will find an ocean monument with some ocean ruins nearby.
This would be a fantastic seed for those who wish to make up a pirate's haven in the middle of the ocean.
Ring mountains are a frequent sight these days in Minecraft, but only rarely can you find one accommodating a village.
Well, in this seed you get to see one at spawn with two more villages right outside of the ring at coordinates 100, 100 and -200, 100.
If you enjoy playing a survival game in a rich environment, then this seed is for you.
Besides the two villages near spawn at coordinates 100, -150 and -250, -250, you will also find a jungle temple at -150, 50, an exposed ruined portal at 50, 50, and a half-buried desert temple at 50, 100.
Forging your path through the overworld can be hard at times, but in the nether it is always difficult.
This seed will make things a little bit easier for you, as you will spawn in a village with an exposed ruined portal that will take you straight to the top of the bastion remnant structure, where you can quickly get all the loot you need.
Spawn in the river bed that hosts an entire woodland mansion that stands on a tall foundation. On top of the hill, just above the mansion, you will find a cozy village.
The rest of the area is completely uninhabited for thousands of blocks in all directions, and the only other village you encounter stands at coordinates 800, -800.
Right after you spawn, travel to coordinates 250, 100, where you will see a snow village standing on top of frozen lake right above an ocean monument.
There are several exposed shipwrecks on the icebergs nearby, and an igloo with basement at coordinates 150, 250.
Speaking of igloos with basements, you can find one in this seed, where the basement is entirely exposed and visible from the crack on the surface at coordinates 200, -150.
Near the igloo you will also encounter a snow village occupying a small patch of ice spikes biome at coordinates 100, 50.
At times structures generate too close to each other in Minecraft, and the collision is inevitable, as witnessed at coordinates 150, 150.
Here one of the village huts gets completely consumed by the jungle temple. Fortunately, the house itself is not damaged, and you can still live in there, and maybe even set up your base within the temple.
One of the most exciting new things appearing in the Minecraft 1.19 world generation are the cliff villages. The huts and farms spawn on the top and bottom platforms, creating unusual cascades.
You can find such a village at spawn in this seed, and try out new stratgies of survival in these unusual circumstances.
Some villages get stranded too far away into the ocean, like the one found in this seed at coordinates 50, 50.
Fortunately, there are some trees on the island and even a blacksmith, which becomes really important in this limited environment.
You can also find a small mushroom island at coordinates 250, 250.
When you spawn at the foot of the mountain, don't go out looking for a village, but look inside the mountain at coordinates -200, 50. There you will find a hidden village located on the bottom of a ring valley.
This is a really lucky seed, and most players wouldn't even notice that there was a village in the first place.
Many Minecraft players would argue that surviving in the desert can be really hard, but not when you have a quick access to lots of useful loot.
Here you will find a village with the adjacent desert temple at coordinates 150, 150, which is really close to spawn.
Then, you can always move into the jungle right near by for more necessary materials.
If you are looking for a quick access to the nether fortresses, then you can use this seed.
There is a village with an exposed ruined portal at spawn, which takes you straight to the base of the massive fortress located in the basalt deltas.
Lush caves biome is undoubtedly on of the most beautiful new subterranean biomes in Minecraft.
In this seed, you can find a massive pit in the ground with an exposed lush cave and a village with exposed ruined portal right on top of it.
All this can be found at coordinates 100, 200.
Once you spawn, you may notice nothing but a small village on the edge of the hill. The closer you get, you start noticing the roof of a woodland mansion sitting comfortably in the canyon between the meadow and the forest biomes.
To the west of spawn, you will also find a swampland with a rare witch hut at coordinates -350, 350.
Spawn in the snow village that stands in the ice spikes biome with a pretty deep ravine nearby. If you delve yourself into the ravine, you will find an exposed abandoned mineshaft right underneath the village.
To the east of spawn, there is an igloo with basement and some quick loot at coordinates 400, -150.
Here is a fun little seed with a peculiar glitch.
Since ocean monuments can't spawn above water, if the level of the generated ocean biome is too low for the monument, then it'll get suppressed into the bottom of the ocean, which is evident at coordinates 200, 200.
You will see that the monument practically cuts down the terrain and all the structures on it, such as shipwreck and ocean ruins.
South of spawn you will be able to locate a group of stony islands with a village connecting a couple of them, and an exposed ruined portal at coordinates -400, 100.
Fortunately, there is also a pretty large chunk of forest for a solid survival start.
