Here are all Mega Sloth locations in Fallout 76, with detailed descriptions on how to find them.

Mega Sloths are unique mutant creatures that rarely appear in Fallout 76. Usually, they’re quite neutral, but if you provoke them, they can quickly become aggressive. In my guide, I’ll show you all Mega Sloth locations in Fallout 76.

Southern Belle Motel Location

One of the best spots to look out for Mega Sloths is a forest patch to the southeast of the Southern Belle Motel in The Mire region. If you look carefully, you’ll definitely find one or more of these creatures dangling in the trees.

Mosstown Location

Not many people know about this place, but since I discovered it, I’ve been able to spot one Mega Sloth to the south of the western hill in Mosstown. There, you’ll see a fissure site with some trees to the south. That’s one of their favorite spots to hang out.

Tanagra Town Location

If you decide to visit Tanagra Town in the Northern Mire, then be sure to check out the trees that grow around the settlement. Specifically, find a big tree at a rusted wire fence near a small shack. At least one Mega Sloth often spawns around the base of this tree.

Treetops Location

The Treetops base isn’t only full of loot but also a possible spawn spot for a Mega Sloth, who typically protects the base from looters. Typically, this creature will appear at the entrance, and it can be very aggressive, so come in prepared.

KMAX Transmission Location

The local KMAX radio station building is surrounded by trees where Mega Sloths especially like to hang out. I’d definitely check the western area for at least one creature spawning on tree branches.

Camp Venture Location

If you take on the “Forbidden Knowledge” side quest from Abigayle Singh, you’ll have to visit the Camp Venture, also known as V.E.S.T. The area to the east of the camp has a number of Mega Sloth spawn points, but be careful not to anger them.

Monorail Elevator Location

The Savage Divide region has only a few significant spots where I could spot some Mega Sloths, and one of them is the Monorail Elevator. They typically hoard in the territory to the north, right before you reach The Freak Show.

Watoga Location

After that, I recommend moving eastwards into the Cranberry Bog region, specifically into Watoga town. Find the Watoga Shopping Plaza and cross the river to the east. Here, you’ll be able to spot one or two Mega Sloths chilling on the bank of the river.

Creekside Sundew Grove Location

One of the largest and most aggressive types of Mega Sloths, known as the Scorched, spawns around the Creekside Sundew Grove to the north of Watoga. Here, they usually fight with the mutants, so be prepared to handle both of them.

Investigator’s Cabin Location

Here’s another possible spot for Mega Sloths spawning in the Savage Divide, which is located inside the information building between an Investigator’s Cabin and the Ripper Alley.

South Mountain Location

Finally, go to the south of Huntersville, where you can spot a nuclear crater of the South Mountain. I’m sure one Mega Sloth spawns near a destroyed building inside the crater.

That’s it for my guide on all Mega Sloth locations in Fallout 76. Stay tuned for more F76 tips and tricks articles right here.
