Now you can find all the weapons you need in loot crates. This guide will provide you with the list of the best guns in Warzone and give you tips on the best possible loadout for each of them.

In Warzone all weapons have the same bullet drop-off and handling. This means that you need to focus on the most accurate long range weapons, such as assault rifles and sniper rifles. Below you will find the best of these and more.

Best Assault Rifle: Oden

  • Magazine: 20 rounds
  • Fire mode: Full-Auto/Semi-Auto
  • Ammo: 12.7×55mm

This may not be an obvious choice, but pro players do miracles with this AR. It has huge damage and range, which is exactly what you need in a battle royale.

The ammunition is designed to hit hard, although it may influence the fire rate. But with special attachments it can do no wrong at mid and long ranges.

If you are a new player, then the best choice would be M4A1. It has a slightly lower damage, but will prepare you well for mastering Oden in the future.

Best SMG: AUG

  • Magazine: 25 rounds
  • Fire mode: Full-Auto/Semi-Auto
  • Ammo: 9mm Parabellum/5.56 NATO

If you’re looking specifically for a weapon with a high fire rate, look no further. Although AUG is a perfect SMG for close combat and high mobility, it becomes completely nuts with a scope attachment, and will be able to hit as far as assault rifle without losing its accuracy.

With special ammo its damage scales up the further the bullet goes, so it’s important to consider something like a thermal scope for long range engagements, which makes gunfights even more intense.

Best Shotgun: R9-0

  • Magazine: 14 shells
  • Fire mode: Double-barrel pump-action
  • Ammo: 12 Gauge

A shotgun will probably never be your primary weapon unless you love to play on a quirky side. All jokes aside, there is no better secondary weapon than R9-0 shotgun.

It has high damage and is easy to handle, which makes it an indispensable weapon in close combat. You want to combine it with an assault rifle, such as Oden or M4A1 as your primary weapons.

Best LMG: PKM

  • Magazine: 100 rounds
  • Fire mode: Fully-automatic
  • Ammo: 7.62×54mmR

Machine guns combine the accuracy and long range of the assault rifles, and the fire rate of the SMGs. While in the case of assault rifles you can switch between fire modes, here you can only go fully automatic, which may change the way you approach match-ups.

With the PKM machine-gun you can get as aggressive as you need to. However, it is important to keep your distance and shoot enemies from afar.

At times it may take a lot more than your standard hundred bullets, but with a few proper attachments you can turn this into a real meat-grinder.

If you go for an RPG rocket launcher as a secondary weapon, then you can take out vehicles, too.

Best Sniper Rifle: HDR

  • Magazine: 5 rounds
  • Fire mode: Bolt-action
  • Ammo: 12.7×108mm

There is an entire movement of battle royale players that play exclusively with sniper rifles. This is their main weapon, and if you want to try it out, then pick up HDR as your primary weapon.

It hits hard and one-shots anyone in the range, and that range is really long. Obviously, when talking about close range, then sniper rifle will do you no good, so opt for an SMG or a pistol as your secondary weapon.
