How to Complete Dreamlight Parks Fest Village Tasks in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Join in on the festivities to earn some special rewards!

Along with the other quests you’ll complete in Disney Dreamlight Valley for the Dreamlight Parks Fest, you’ll also have some Village tasks. Like most event Village tasks, they take some figuring out, but they also have much better rewards. Here’s how to complete them all.

All Dreamlight Parks Fest Village Tasks & Rewards

Just like the Halloween or Christmas events, you’ll find the Village tasks for the event under the Dreamlight tab of your menu in the Village category. Three different tasks are available to complete, all marked with a Disney castle. It won’t tell you how to complete them, however. It’s up to you to figure it out based on the name of the challenge. Don’t worry if you’re stumped; we have all the details to complete each task here:

Sweet Samaritan

The Sweet Samaritan task goes hand-in-hand with your daily quests for the festival, and that’s because it’s all about baking some cupcakes. You’ll have to make 50 of the festival cupcakes: Princess Aurora Raspberry Cupcakes, Minnie Cupcakes, Stitch Cupcakes, Mermaid Cupcakes, or Spaceship Earth Cupcakes, and gift them to Villagers around the Valley.

It doesn’t matter what flavor you are giving out or who you are giving them to. Unlike the daily quests, you can give all 50 to the same person if you want to. It’ll just have to be a total of 50 to complete the task. Here are all the cupcake recipes you can use:

Popcorn Enthusiast

The Popcorn Enthusiast is a bit more involved than the baking task. For this one, you’ll need to craft five different Disney Popcorn Buckets on your Crafting Table. Any of the following Popcorn Bucket recipes will work:

You may have noticed they take a particular type of ingredients to make. You’ll need to collect special event buttons to make them. They are all scattered around the Valley to harvest or earn by completing different activities.

Where to Get Flower Buttons

The Flower Buttons are the buttons you’ll find most often around the Valley and the most noticeable. They are long red flowers with buttons growing in the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow. You can walk up and harvest them just like ordinary flowers.

Where to Get Green Buttons

Green buttons are collected by completing the daily and weekly quests from Scrooge, Moana, Mickey, Ursula, and WALL-E. The daily quests give you five Green Buttons each and the weekly gives you 50 when completing them.

Where to Get Red Buttons

Red Buttons are also scattered around the Valley like the Flower Buttons; however, they are more challenging to find because of their size. They aren’t growing on a flower but just on the ground for you to pick up. They can be in any of the biomes around the Valley, so keep a lookout for them.

Where to Get Blue Buttons

Blue Buttons are a little bit different than the rest because you’ll need to fish them out, literally. You can use your Royal Fishing Pole to find them in white fishing spots in Peaceful Meadow or Dazzle Beach.

Where to Get Purple Buttons

The Purple Buttons are the only buttons you’ll need to actually create using some other materials. You can find it under the Functional Items tab on your Crafting Table. Most likely it will be all the way at the very bottom of the list.

To make these buttons, you’ll need to use the following materials:

  • Blue Button x1
  • Red Button x2
  • Dreamlight x100

Once you’ve made five of the Popcorn Buckets, make sure to place them down in your Valley to receive your reward, which is a Vintage Magic Kingdom Map. Making these buttons also ties in with the very last of the Village tasks, which is the Button-Maker task.

Button-Maker

The last task is pretty self-explanatory. All you need to do is make 20 of the Purple Buttons. You’ll need the same materials we outlined above just plenty more of them. These are the total amounts to make all of them:

  • Blue Buttons x20
  • Red Buttons x40
  • Dreamlight x2,000

Once you make 20, you can redeem your reward for the Retro Magic Kingdom Map to complete your map collection.

These are all the tasks to complete for the event! Keep earning those Green Buttons by completing the daily and weekly quests. Plus, take part in the Community Challenges for even more exceptional rewards.
