Honkai Star Rail follows in the footsteps of other gacha games by offering players a lot to do. Although microtransactions can cut down on the grind of unlocking new content, keeping up with the various daily and weekly tasks provides plenty of rewards. Honkai Star Rail F2P Schedule Guide

Here’s the list of activities available in our Honkai Star Rail F2P schedule guide:

Daily Training

A lot of the things in this F2P schedule guide will be pretty flexible and don’t necessarily need to be completed every day, but something that every Trailblazer should set out for is completing their Daily Training tasks.

These refresh every day and come in batches of six, based on my experience. The good news is you don’t even have to complete them all.

  • Each will add 100 or 200 daily activity points, of which you can have a maximum of 500.
  • Every 100 daily activity will provide a reward of 200-380 Trailblaze EXP (dependent on your Equilibrium level), Stellar Jade, and some sort of experience/enhancement materials.

Related to this are Daily Missions. Only one is available per day, and they offer credits as rewards. But more importantly, they always contribute 200 daily activity points.

Assignments

Assignments are the quickest task in this F2P P schedule guide. They revolve around choosing characters to be sent out, returning with Character, EXP, or Synthesis Materials. Choosing a character doesn’t affect their availability while playing, and the longer their assignment is (20 hours at max), the more rewards they bring back. Match the assignments with the recommended paths, and they’ll return with extra rewards.

Calyx (Golden) and Calyx (Crimson)

Next are the first two examples of Trial-like activities.

  • Calyx (Golden) provides set battles where you earn Trailblaze EXP, Credits, and either Character EXP Materials or Light Cone Enhancement Materials. They feature increasingly challenging difficulties that can reward higher-level materials.
  • Calyx (Crimson) does the same but for early materials that can level up a character’s Traces or be used to ascend Light Cones.

Both Calyx types require 10 Trailblaze Power for a single challenge wave. The Trailblaze Power is the only limitation here, as the maximum is 180. Unless Fuel or Stellar Jade is used to replenish it, you’ll have to wait for the excruciatingly long recovery of 1 Power every six minutes.

Cavern of Corrosion

You’ll need to be a bit far into Honkai Star Rail before you unlock your first Cavern of Corrosion. But once you do, you’ll then have access to one of the best farming methods available. Caverns of Corrosion feature two waves of enemies, with the second headlined by an elite-tier enemy. Each has a Special Mechanism that adds a unique twist to the battle, such as buffing certain types of attacks. The rewards for completing these are Relics, and higher difficulty waves mean rarer quality Relics.

Every attempt at a Cavern of Corrosion challenge requires 40 Trailblaze Power. Just like the Calyx, these are only limited by how much Trailblaze Power you have. For a more thorough breakdown, check out our Caverns of Corrosion guide.

Stagnant Shadow

Stagnant Shadow is the next activity unlocked in the Honkai Star Rail F2P schedule. These require you to take on an Elite-tier enemy along with some weaker enemies. There’s no special mechanism here, so you’ll just need to win these battles to the best of your ability. Unique Character Ascension Materials, which are necessary to ascend your characters to higher levels, are provided here.

Challenging a Stagnant Shadow requires 30 Trailblaze Power. You’ll need to carefully plan out your usage of Trailblaze Power according to what reward you need most, or just use Fuel to recharge quickly.

Echo of War

We now come to the weekly F2P activities in HSR. The most limited one is Echo of War. These allow for repeated fights against the biggest bosses the story mode throws your way. Beating them again can net you advanced Trace Materials, Relics, and Rare Light Cones.

There are two limitations to consider with the Echo of War. The first is that each attempt requires 30 Trailblaze Power. The much more important one is that rewards can only be claimed three times, after which you’ll need to wait until the weekly server reset to do them again. If you find yourself struggling against these difficult bosses, check out our Echo of War guides below:

Simulated Universe

A far-less limited weekly activity is the Simulated Universe. These randomly generated dungeons can be played whenever you like and expand quite a bit the more you play through them. Weekly points can be earned and accrued to unlock a slew of rewards. These points are wiped clean when the server resets, though, so dedicate time to unlock them before the week ends.

Starting with Simulated Universe World 3, you’ll also be able to unlock Planar Ornament relics for 40 Trailblaze Power. These additional relics are a fantastic way to round out character builds, whether they’re a 4-star like Yukong or a 5-star like Blade.

Forgotten Hall

Another separate game mode of sorts is Forgotten Hall. Aside from the tough enemies, there are also specific objectives that need to be fulfilled. Many involve winning with a certain number of cycles/turns left.

This may not seem like it belongs at first, but the unique content comes after the first 15 “Memory” stages and with the endgame-level “Memory of Chaos” stages. These are much more difficult and refresh their rewards every week. New players won’t have to worry about these for a while, but they’re a worthy challenge for those who have leveled up enough.

Nameless Honor

Rounding it all out is Nameless Honor. The Honkai Star Rail version of a battle pass lasts until the next big update, leaving you ample time to finish the free Nameless Gift track or the paid-for Nameless Glory track. EXP is gained by completing missions lasting this entire period, as well as various daily and weekly types that are refreshed.

Spend some time with the tasks outlined in this Honkai Star Rail F2P Schedule guide, and you’ll be able to take on the toughest challenges without spending a cent.
