How to be a Good Boy in Il Molise in Vampire Survivors

Vampire Survivors has quite a few secret unlocks, and in this article, I’ll go over the riddle “Be a Good Boy in Il Molise” that is puzzling many Vampire Survivors players. It’s not straightforward nor easy to deduce, but after some struggles, I figured out what the deal was.

How to Unlock Be a Good Boy in Il Molise Secret in Vampire Survivors

The “Bea a Good Boy in Il Molise” riddle requires you to pick up O’Sole Meeo, the dog character in Vampire Survivors, and head out to the bonus stage called “Il Molise,” where you will have to be a good boy by watering the plants around you to help them grow with O’Sole Meeo’s weapon Celestial Dusting. You need to heal the plants for 100,000 “damage” over the course of multiple runs.

When you complete the quest, you’ll hear a jingle sound. No matter how weird that sounds, it is what it is. Completing this “secret” unlocks Peppino, a secret character. If you lack O’Sole Meeo and/or Il Molise, I’ll help you unlock these.

How to Unlock O’Sole Meeo in Vampire Survivors

You can unlock O’Sole Meeo in Vampire Survivors by beating 3,000 Dragon Shrimps on Gallo Tower, Boss Rash, or Bone Zone. After this is done (you’ll have to make an approximate kill count or play multiple runs if needed), you will be able to buy O’Sole Meeo in the character shop.

To get into Gallo Tower you’ll need to reach level 60 at the Dairy Plant. Stages are unlocked by fulfilling certain requests, just like characters.

How to Unlock Il Molise Stage

Il Molise is revealed by unlocking Hyper Mode for any of the stages in Vampire Survivors. Hyper Mode for a stage is unlocked when you beat the mini-boss of the stage. You know, that big monster that shows up at 25:00 or 20:00 on most Vampire Survivors stages before the Red Death.

How to Speed Up Completing Be a Good Boy

The “Be a Good Boy” task will be much easier for you if you manage to get a hold of Arcana X – The Beginning at the start of your run because that gives you +3 Amount and more healing power for the plants. This should save you a substantial amount of time.

After watering the plants at Il Molise, you can go back to the character selection screen, and you will see a tree character called Peppino.

Peppino cannot move on its own, and you need to boost its movement speed if you want to move around.

How to Get Halloween Costumes for Peppino, O’Sole Meeo, and Some Other Characters

You might have seen that O’Sole Meeo and Peppino look different in my screenshots. This is because I’ve dressed them in Halloween costumes. You can do this by typing the spell “spoopyseason” in the Spells menu. I’ve made a list of all spells (cheats) in Vampire Survivors, and there you shall find the cheat codes for unlocking all of the stuff I’ve gone through here if you don’t want to invest your time into the tedious unlocking process.
