Did you notice those cutscenes with a mysterious vault door and purple lights that glow up one by one whenever you clean a zone from the Noxious Weed and Noxious Slime? Have you wondered where it is? I’ll help you find this strange door in Lightyear Frontier.
Where is the Strange Door from the Cutscene in Lightyear Frontier
Believe it or not, this mysterious door is very close to your starting location in Lightyear Frontier. It’s well hidden in a forest. Fear not, however; I will be very glad to show you the exact location of this door. Then, you can go there yourself and check it out and see what it looks like in person. You probably noticed that one more purple arrow lights up in each cutscene. This obviously indicates that progress is happening and that something special will happen when all of the purple arrows are glowing brightly. Still, how do you open this strange door, anyway?
How to Unlock and Enter the Strange Door in Lightyear Frontier
It is possible to unlock the strange door and enter it only if the prerequisites have been completed. The prerequisites involve cleaning every zone of Noxious Weeds and Noxious Slime. This sounds like an easy task in hindsight, but unfortunately, for some areas, you will need to upgrade your Mech’s tools to higher levels (namely, Vacuum and Hose) so that they are even able to purge the Noxious threats in the late-game zones.
Every time you free a zone, the cutscene before the next day begins shows a short animation in which another purple arrow starts glowing. When you completely purge the Noxious Weed and Noxious Slime from the island, you will be able to enter the door and discover what’s beyond.
