How to Get Aspect of Siphon or Aspect of Agility in Fortnite

Challenge these Underworld bosses to gain these special abilities.

We’ve defeated Hades once before in Fortnite, but we may have to do it again this week. For the Weekly quests, you’ll need to collect the Aspect of Siphon or Agility and travel a specific distance with them in your possession. Here’s where and how to get them.

Where to Get Aspect of Siphon and Aspect of Agility in Fortnite

The Aspects of Siphon and Agility are the unique medallions you can collect by defeating Hades or Cerberus. To get them, you’ll need to challenge Hades and Cerberus to a duel in their respective locations in The Underworld and Grim Gate. Here’s where they are:

  • Hades – West side of The Underworld
  • Cerberus – Southeast side of Grim Gate

How to Defeat Hades – Aspect of Siphon

You’ll need to defeat Hades to gain the Aspect of Siphon. This Aspect allows you to absorb health when eliminating an opponent. When you arrive at The Underworld, make sure you grab some guns, ammo, and shield from nearby chests before you interact with the boss altar to challenge Hades to a duel.

This boss fight will take place in a few waves. First, you’ll defeat two waves of minions in a group of three. On the third wave, Hades will jump down from his throne to join the battle. This is when things will get complicated. Hades utilizes two very dangerous attacks: Hades Whip and Siphon. With Siphon, he will draw you in toward him while draining some of your health. Then, he’ll pull out his SMG to hit you up close. This is why you’ll want to keep your distance as much as possible and shoot at him from a distance. Just beware of his Whip because it has quite the reach.

The best way to defeat him is to use an AR or fast-firing SMG from a safe distance. Don’t go up close until he’s low enough in health, and then you can finish him off with a shotgun. Once he’s defeated, he’ll drop the Aspect of Siphon medallion on the ground for you to pick up.

How to Defeat Cerberus – Aspect of Agility

Cerberus gives the Aspect of Agility, which allows you to phase three times in any direction (just like the River Styx). Like Hades, you can challenge Cerberus by interacting with the altar and Cerberus’ statue.

Cerberus’ boss fight also includes multiple waves but is much easier than the Hades fight. The first few waves require you to defeat groups of wolves. Unlike Hades’ minions, the wolves cannot shoot you from a distance, so you have the advantage over them if you don’t get too close. After the first two waves of wolves, Cerberus will spawn in.

The trick for defeating Cerberus is speed. Since Cerberus will use his phase ability to teleport around, it can be hard to keep a lock on him. However, if you use his own ability against him, you can keep up a lot easier. Step into the River Styx green water nearby and chase after him. Avoid getting incoming damage from his deadly shotgun, and you’ll get him in no time. He’ll drop the Aspect of Agility medallion when defeated.

How to Travel Distance With Aspect of Siphon or Aspect of Agility

Once you have either of the aspects, you’ll need to travel 250 meters while holding them to complete the Weekly quest. To complete this quest more easily, I suggest prioritizing getting the Aspect of Agility. Although Siphon is great to have, Agility will help you travel that distance much faster.

While holding the Aspects, your location will be shown on the map as a gold circle. This makes you a target for other players and makes completing this quest even more challenging. You’ll want to travel that distance as quickly as possible to finish the quest before you are confronted by other players. Using the phase ability, keep toward the edges of the island, follow the River Styx from Grim Gate to Rebel’s Roost, and you should finish the quest.
