How to Get Daisy Duck in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Welcome Daisy Duck and a brand new Boutique to the Valley!

Daisy Duck is a lot easier to welcome to Disney Dreamlight Valley than some of the other characters in the past. You’ll just need to save up some Star Coins, and then you can work toward building her special new business, the Boutique. Here’s how to get Daisy Duck and complete her initial quest.

Disney Dreamlight Valley You Have Mail! Quest Guide

The first step to unlocking Daisy Duck in your Valley is picking up the quest “You Have Mail!” from Mickey Mouse. Once you update your game with the Thrills & Frills update, you’ll find Mickey Mouse wandering the Valley with a quest marker above his head. Speaking to him will allow you to start the quest.

This quest is how you’ll get Daisy and build the Boutique. However, to get Daisy to show up, you’ll need to place her house down in your Valley. As we know from the past, building houses is very costly, and this is no exception.

You can place Daisy Duck’s house down anywhere you like by opening your Build menu with Y on Console or F on PC. You’ll see a quest at the top of the Furniture menu where you can quickly find Daisy’s house and place it. Once it’s placed, you’ll have to interact with the Scrooge sign outside of it to actually build it. It’ll cost you 20,000 Star Coins.

How to Build the Boutique in Disney Dreamlight Valley

After you build Daisy’s house with the required Star Coins, you’ll be able to welcome her to the Valley. The quest doesn’t stop there, however. Speak to Daisy in her house and she’ll instruct you on how to open the Boutique. You’ll need to collect the following materials:

  • Dream Shards x3
  • Carrots x5 – In Peaceful Meadow
  • Topaz x3 – In Plaza, or Eternity Isle Docks
  • White Daisies x3 – In Peaceful Meadow

When all of those materials are collected, head to the nearest Crafting Table, and you can craft the Wonderland Amplification Elixir. It’ll transfer to your Inventory once crafted and you can use it. After that, head to Daisy’s house again and look for the mini Boutique doll house on the ground.

The mini Boutique should be right in the middle of Daisy’s house. Approach it and then equip your Watering Can by opening the tool wheel with RT or M2 and selecting it. Water the mini house and then pick it up. Despite having this mini house in your Inventory, you’ll need to place the full-size Boutique in the Valley through your Furniture menu (just like Daisy’s house). I placed mine right next to Scrooge’s shop, and it fit nicely. Of course, you’ll want to explore inside after placing it.

How to Complete a Boutique Challenge in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Inside the Boutique, Daisy will give you the ins and outs of what it’s made for, which is essentially showing off your design creations. Then, she’ll have you complete a Boutique Challenge.

A Boutique Challenge requires you to place specific clothes and furniture down at the Boutique, fitting the themes for the week, similar to the DreamSnaps. You’ll find the themes for the challenge through your Wardrobe menu or by asking Daisy directly.

For this challenge, you’ll need Black, Calm, and Simple. This goes for the Furniture items and Wardrobe items. Although you can choose to create your own items for this challenge, you can also just use furniture and clothes that you already have. All you need to do is place them in the right spots.

First, open your wardrobe and put your character in an outfit that matches the challenge description. You’ll need not only the main requirements but also the clothing requirements, which are Casual and Shoes. You can use the filters to help you narrow down your clothing options to fit. Once your character is a fitting outfit, walk up to the podium in the Boutique and place it on the mannequins facing the door.

Approaching the mannequins on the podium will give you the option to “Edit” and place your current outfit on it. Both mannequins must have the correct outfits on for the challenge.

For the furniture portion of the challenge, you’ll need to find the correct furniture that matches the requirements, just like the clothes. You can do this easily by filtering the furniture by the tags that the challenge shows: Casual and Seating.

Then, place down any item that fits those descriptions anywhere on the podium beside the two mannequins you just clothed. You should see checkmarks on all the requirements for the challenge if you have them correct. Then, you can head back to Daisy to turn it in.

This is the end of the quest, but keep a look out for more Boutique Challenges every week! Each time you complete a challenge and turn it into Daisy, you’ll earn some Star Coins. This comes in handy for unlocking more mannequins around the Boutique.
