How to Make an Everything Bagel in Stardew Valley

How to unlock the challenge of the everything bagel in Stardew Valley!

There are plenty of recipes in Stardew Valley, but this one is a bit different. That’s because of the overwhelming number of ingredients you need before cooking your very own bagel. However, you won’t find the recipe in the standard version of the game. So, here’s how to make an everything bagel in Stardew Valley.

Stardew Valley: How to Cook an Everything Bagel

Before anything, you’ll need to install a mod if you want to tackle this recipe. The Everything Bagel mod by SiTheGreat1 takes this food’s name seriously, requiring 134 ingredients to make. That means that the list of ingredients can’t fit on your screen, leaving many of them a mystery. To help, SiTheGreat1 provided these tips:

  • All ingredients are some form of food.
  • Very few are artisan goods.
  • No legendary fish (or their Qi challenge counterparts) are needed.
  • No new foods from 1.6.

This recipe is designed to be a challenge for you to make, and SiTheGreat1 mentions on the mod page that they plan on adding food items from Patch 1.6 in a future update. But for now, only food items prior to 1.6 are included. However, that doesn’t make it much easier to figure out which ingredients you need.

How to Find Everything Bagel Ingredients

Luckily, if you aren’t up for the challenge of trying to piece this recipe together, there’s a way to find exactly what you need. This Stardew Valley wiki page has the item IDs for every item aside from those added in 1.6, at least at the time of writing this. Since the mod’s files list every ingredient required, using the wiki page combined with combing through files reveals every item you need.

Right now, the only method for how to make an everything bagel in Stardew Valley is with mods. It’s a great challenge if you’ve completed most activities in the game already, and it forces you to do extra farming to get at least one of every crop.
