Skull and Bones is the largest open-world game that Ubisoft has developed yet. Although you can visit different ports in this massive world, they’re not that big. You’ll mainly be walking on land to gather quests, purchase items, or upgrade and customize your ship.

Even though the game is open-world, there’s a transition each time you dock your ship at a port. You can’t seamlessly go from your ship to walking on land. You’ll be met with a short black screen while the game loads. It doesn’t take long, but it does take away from the open-world feeling.
