What All New Medallions Do in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4

Find out what all new medallions are made for in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4.

Epic Games introduced three new medallions in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. These medallions are part of update 31, which introduces three new carriers: Doombot, Emma Frost, and Mysterio. Here, I’ll explain what all new medallions do in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, including tips on how to find them.

Doombot’s Siphon Medallion

The Siphon Medallion grants extra HP and the Shield Siphon ability, which lets you steal enemy shields when you deal damage and defeat them. This is a great medallion to help you survive until the last few circles.

To get the medallion, you must defeat Doombot boss, who resides at Castle Doom in the northeastern part of the map. There, you need to find a Throne Room in the largest part of the castle, which is hard to miss. First, you’ll face some of his minions, which can be easily eliminated with a shotgun. You can use the same weapon against Doombot, but be aware of the two HP bars that you need to deplete to actually defeat him. Once he’s dead, he’ll drop the following items:

  • Doombot’s Siphon Medallion
  • Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets
  • Doctor Doom’s Monarch Pistol (Mythic)

Mysterio’s Stealth Medallion

Stealth Medallion grants invisibility when crouching. The only way to see a player with this medallion is to equip the Reveal Medallion. Also, I must warn you that the effect stops as soon as you use anything, so don’t be surprised if you suddenly get detected.

Go to the main square in Doomstadt to fight Mysterio. Note that this boss is very pesky with his clones that attack in hordes. On top of that, he teleports around during the battle and requires you to deplete his shield and then his HP gauges before he dies. Once again, I think the best weapon against Mysterio would be a shotgun, but it’s up to you. As a reward for defeating him, you’ll get:

  • Stealth Medallion
  • Mysterio’s Sovereign Shotgun (Mythic)

Emma Frost’s Reveal Medallion

Reveal Medallion, as the name implies, reveals the locations of players who are either hiding or using Stealth Medallion. That’s why it’s important to get both of these, as you can always be sure that no enemy will escape your sight.

Once you arrive at the Raft in the southwestern part of the map, look underneath for a fight with Emma Frost. Emma is no competition for either Doombot or Mysterio, and she’s a really easy kill. Of course, I suggest you deal with her minions first before switching to defeating her. Once dead, she’ll drop these items:

  • Reveal Medallion
  • Emma Frost’s Striker Burst Assault Rifle
